Not sure about whether VIG needs company. What I think he needs to do is actually post some opinions/analysis on AHT and not just regurgitate some generic general market info he's obviously copying and pasting from somewhere else. This isn't helping anyone and isn't what there stock-specific boards should be used for. If he doesn't respond to my question by tomorrow, I'm filtering him......

grob, see post yesterday at 13.12. My 12 month price target is £13.50. I don't have a specific yr end one, but I'd be disappointed if it wasn't above £11.50.

On further inspection, it looks like St Ive's exposure to the grocery/retail market is what's killed them. Communisis only has 4% of revenues from retail clients, so hopefully is less exposed. Still, the news is a bit worrying to be honest!

Agree, it's run hard from the low 20's. I'm still waiting for the share price to start with a '4' before I consider selling though.......

The last few years have all been about go-go growth in a rapidly consolidating market. Whilst this process still has some way to go, I think the real focus going forwards will be cash generation used to pay down debt and pay dividends. This can still be a very rich period for the share price, particularly given the current PE of about 10x 2017 earnings. I feel that 12 months from now, this multiple will be nearer 15x, equivalent to £13.50. Which brings me back to my question to VIG100 (which he seems to be assiduously avoiding!) - why do you think it won't get to £11.50 this year? I really won't be having a 'wild day'(???) until you answer.......

Purely a sentiment thing at the moment I'd say. I have no doubt that this is (a) transient, and more importantly (b) will become completely irrelevant if the fundamentals come through as we expect.

I think it's the whole 'China' thing. Historically, this linkage has been seen as a positive, but today, given astronomic growth in debt (in China, not HCM!), and likelihood of slower economic growth going forwards, it's actually seen as a detractor!

Good news - got in this morning at 835p. Bad news, only put in a half position!! Not complaining though!! :-))

....but is actually a $/£ thing -m $ price remains resolute at $13.5. Like I've said before, the $ quote is now the main driver, and the £ price just follows!

You seem to spend a lot of time talking to yourself on this site V100, but I'm struggling to see anything truly fundamental in terms of growth/valuation etc. So here's your chance to prove me wrong - tell me why the stock won't hit £11.50 in 2016?

So I first invested in this stock in 2010 at £1 and sold out at the back end of 2012 at £4 - what a clever chap I thought - 400% in 2 years! And then it kept going up and up and up etc etc. Kept an eye on the price, and have watched with interest as the stock has fallen back to ~£8, which puts it nearly back to a single digit PE with 10-15% growth, right back into my firing line again! Anything I'm missing here?

...but I have friends who are, and I've been watching this Board as a result. LT holders on this Board have had to endure a lot - not only a sharply falling stock price, but a number of aggressive and unpleasant posters whose sole job appears to be to 'crow' and belittle current investors (noticeable how some of these have been quiet for a week or so...) - a shocking way to behave to people who are seeing their savings shrink IMO. On this basis alone, I am truly heartened to see the recent price jump (nearly 16p as I type this) and I hope for the long term holders this continues! In truth, I won't be investing as this stock is too risky for my blood, but Good Luck to all who do!

Looks like subscription only. I am now a bit concerned about my strategy to sell my holding at 250p. At this rate, that's going to look like a bit of a bargain!!
