Colonel I'm using II as I have done for over 30 years (previously TDI)...

I know for certain that they use at least six market makers for SOLG, in fact they are connected to every MM in the market one way and another and as I say, 99 times out of 100 I'm dealing electronically...

Qalibashi, what time was that...maybe the problem was with II but that wouldn't explain why I was getting bids but no offers...

Right now, the quote is 35.05/35.35, but...

I can only buy 1,000 at 35.76...!

And sell 100,000 at 35.55...

There's got to be something going on and `I suspect the market is VERY thin on shares...

When you say dummy sells colonel, you are of course technically correct, but on II what I'm actually getting is automatic electronic quotes...do we think somebody is watching a screen all day long...?

And even if they are, they'll be wetting themselves around 4.25/4.30 every day when they're thinking about the closing auction and some idiot keeps checking the market on a 300,000 sell...?

There's no way they would run a book on 'dummy sells' because they'd end up having to buy in at a higher price than they quoted me when my bargain doesn't materialise...

Thank god for electronic dealing...I can't remember the last time I had to deal on the phone..the only thing I would say is that Fill or Kill bargains take 7-12 minutes, far longer than they used to, but even that may be because these have to be handled manually by II staff working from home, working through an order list in strict rotation...

I thought at first it must be in auction but `I haven't been able to buy any shares for 10 minutes but I have been firmly bid for 300,000 throughout...

Bought back a total of c250,000 at average 36p last week. Now over 1 million again

Firmly bid for 200,000 shares going into the close...Full ask quoted to buy only 30,000

Has anybody notice that every Sell for the last 2/3 hours has gone through at full offer, or above...

Meanwhile I'm firmly bid for 200,000 at 37.04 but I can also sell up to 50,000 at 37.37 and 80,000 at 37.25 cf the Bid price of 37.25...

SOLG still trading at $0.66 = 38p...

I thought we could repay the whole of the FNV facility at our option...?

MRE2 showed 2.95 Billion at 0.2% cutoff and 960 million at 0.45% cutoff...

No wonder CGP are p****d...Cascabel as a whole may hold ten times that...they probably wanted NM to keep drilling there rather than pursue other projects where CGP have no direct interest...

And as some have speculated on here, its not beyond the bounds of possibility that SOLG develops a PFS/DFS and funding plan for Porvenir or Rio, which would be far easier to mine, thereby 'mothballing' Alpala and leaving CGP to wither on the vine...

BHP and NCM have twice the stake in the latter that CGP has...how about a plan to JV with BHP or NCM on either...?
