RE: Going to production19 Oct 2020 11:58
Quady. I'm afraid I have now lost any respect I had for you and I don't care what you think about me.
Anyone reading the post you referred to would come to the opposite conclusion, together with the hundreds of bullish posts, many of which make clear that i will only sell the bulk if there is a bid at a suitable price.
So some facts:
Since 1 January our ISAs have gone up by the current equivalent of 1.2 million SOLG shares. This has been made from HOC, Blackrock Gold & General, GPM, FRES, ATYM and of course SOLG.
As stated on here before many times, part of my strategy is to sell half my shares when they double. I did that before when SOLG went from 20p to 40p...
This time I sold 1/4 only: to give much needed cash to my kids, one of whom is about to be a father for the first time; and one to fund their Masters degree.
Also, to put some money aside for the £113k cash call I have in GPSS at the end of November. This is now in TR21; the rest I can raise from any of my 20 or so other investments. However, having bought back 126,000 SOLG at 37.7 and, if the price went to over 50p and looked like stalling, I would be a mug not to take those off the table again.
So to be clear. Right now we have over 1 million shares that we have no need to sell until I decide is the right time to take some more terrific profits. Separately from our ISAs, we have well into six figures in the bank and a wonderful happy lifestyle.
So please don't make wholly untrue statements about me that you have no basis or justification for.
Here's the relevant part of the post you mentioned.
"I have seriously talked to my wife about the possibility of making a £1 million profit from this, however...
It will actually depend on the circumstances around the time of each price spike.
When the SP rose to 43p, I sold the shares I had invested for my kids and paid them the money because the target was double bubble. Tick.
The excess I sold for me and H I have substantially bought back because ~I can't quite believe that the market hasn't recognised the Porvenir potential here yet.
So...if the price went to 50p or so in the next couple of weeks and stalled as it did around 43p I would have to take some off the table and run the rest indefinitely.
I still believe SOLG will get taken over. I don't have a price target but 125p would be very tempting."
Apologies once again to everyone else on this board.
