RE: Share Price3 Nov 2020 10:34
Its only my opinion Optimus but I believe it largely IS market factors, especially the US Election, coupled with the news vacuum from SOLG...
You may have picked up that, having sold a quarter at 42.7, I reacquired them for c34.25 but sold agin at 35/36 because of my own experiences of the 2000 US Election debacle...
At one time last week the S&P Index had fallen over 8% in a fortnight as investors took risk off the table across all sectors...in approximately the same period the UK Mining Sector index fell more than 10% because US market sentiment and the economic outlook affects the commodity price outlook...
IMO the SOLG price fall is not a precursor of bad news...we can never rule out the possibility that a prospective bidder is manipulating the price somehow, but I actually think that apart from the market nervousness the SOLG SP ran into profit takers when it hit the 40s again for the first time in 18 months (a level at which loads of people had previously taken profits and from which it had fallen back to c20p and briefly to 10p)...
Personally I think the fallback has been overdone also, but everybody is waiting for PFS, assays or even a bid...so few are selling but few are buying either...
Hope this helps and AIMO as usual...
