SOLG MCap is £674 million with 85% of Alpala with total control over development and potentially at least two other Tier 1s...

CGP has 15% od Alpala and a MCap of $165CDN...or £96m...that prorates to £567m at 85% despite them having only a minority interest and owing $52m...

Agreed addict...he din't do the FNV deal to spite BHP and NCM...as he has stated many times, it was to value the resource...BHP and NCM didn't like it...

I'm absolutely certain that the Valuestone stake was an opportunistic defence strategy that also raised cash for drilling and, as Quady says, diversified the share register...also knowing they wanted more than they got he's making them buy the rest in the market...

I still don't see the Chinese involved in any way Colonel...

Look at the bitter dispute between Oz and China resulting in a Chinese ban on coal from Oz...even though their cities are suffering...

However, I wouldn't put it past Nick using the Chinese as a stalking horse, or even a counter to force any bid higher...

At the end of the day SOLG doesn't have to sell to anybody until 75% or without the shareholders' approval...I'd choose Barrick or BHP over the Chinese...and that's NOT racial prejudice, its just their inexorable hoovering of scarce global resources...

Quady...Hannam have talked to SOLG...did you not see the CFP in 2022/23 and first production in 2027 clearly enunciated in the report...
