Spot on. I really don't think the market has taken this on board at all. It will come eventually and make SNG001 a very valuable asset.

Re home trial. I worry about this as I think there is less chance of getting a significant result against the placebo group with such a small sample size. If you look at the hospital arm data it was actually the sicker patients that showed the greater effect of SNG001.

I need to go and look at what the endpoints are for the home trial as can’t recall what they are. I think the drug has a great opportunity to work in early infection but feel a much larger trial is needed to show a significant result.

So this readout could be a drag on the SP if non conclusive. I would much prefer to see P3 data first.

CR, they will probably do some lab based assays but SNG001 has been proved against a range of viruses. The viruses were highlighted in the COPD rns in September and there is plenty of information on the SNG website.

Because SNG001 is not acting against the virus itself, rather stimulating the bodies immune response, there should be no issues here.

Obviously supply of interferon is crucial hence the need for a 2nd supplier as indicated in the recent job advert.

Also just filling the syringes with drug is another bottleneck. The company is looking at BFS as a means to speed up this process and from my research this will dramatically increase production capacity as well as reduce costs.

We will also be limited by the numbers of nebulisers that aerogen can produce.

For Dexamethasone reduction in risk of dying are 20% (oxygen) & 33% (ventilator) respectively. This drug was approved immediately.

Any statistically significant result showing benefit in the two primary endpoints will result in FDA approval.

That is what we are all betting on @TSSZ.

Still a phase 3 trial to get through yet but all indications with previous trials and lab based assays indicate that sng001 is an effective at up regulating lung antiviral response. Fingers crossed it proves itself again over the next few months.

CR, I remember it. It was a rumour on Twitter. If any thing would have come of it, it would be a bonus but like most things on Twitter the rumour never comes to fruition. Certainly not something to be base investment decisions upon.

I think you read the same rns but interpreted it differently from most people.

French trial? See this is the problem. If you are getting all your info off Twitter and BB’s you can be way off the mark. RM has never rns’d a French trial. It never existed but you are basing your decisions around something that has never been RNS’d.

I think everyone agrees that the home trial has not been a great success but even in RM’s own admission the home trial was a back up, insurance so to speak, if the P2 was a dud. But what actually happened was phase 2 was a huge success. IMO it is going to be much more difficult to get a significant result with the home trial arm due to the trial size as it currently stands. I think to statistically show an effect when giving this drug at an early stage the patient numbers are going to need to be very large.

The other thing is people invest or trade in your case in very different ways. I develop a case for investment and the buy in for the long term. Buy any weakness if it happens and continually assess the investment case.

You are just hoping for a fall. It may happen and you get lucky or you may miss out completely.

And I really hope they do! I bet they never thought in their wildest imaginations that it would be their drug that could help change the course of the worst health crisis in a hundred years. All their hard work really comes down to the next 2 months. It is one of the reasons I have stayed positive with this investment since the November drop. Did anyone really think that they were going to let this opportunity slide? They have much more on the line than any of us do. It is their life’s work. Their chance to go down in the history books.

One of the great shames for me will be that the UK governments lack of recognition of the work SNG have achieved this year is that when Phase 3 is successful Boris and Handjob will be the first claiming this as one of their great successes!!

There is one thing for sure K-mac and that is it should be very easy to convince patients to sign up to the trial based on the P2 readout.

Syn, I agree wholeheartedly. £2/3 billion MCap upon approval. Based on my calcs on the proposed production numbers and discounting cost of drug significantly on that indicated by RM it is easily achievable.

£5 a share/£1 billion MCAP for what would be, on successful P3, the most efficacious and easiest to administer covid drug in the world would be a criminal undervaluation.

I think people just look at the number after the £ sign and don't think it is possible rather than crunching some numbers and actually seeing how easy it is to get there.

I agree. I have never put a figure on it but I did some sums the other day and it really is hard to comprehend where this will go upon successful P3. The numbers are massive even when being conservative on the price of the drug. The news that SNG are investigating BFS for production and an additional interferon producer means 100,000 per month will be at the low end of what the company will be producing mid 2021, all going well with the trial efficacy.

Been a while since I have done a calc like that Scinv! I will leave that in your capable hands.

If this trial was run over and over with the current design, the design is such that the effect will be shown 9 out of 10 times.
