Covid has given the opportunity for this SNG001 to prove its worth. It is part of the way there through successful phase 2 trials. Successful completion of a phase 3 trial will make this company very valuable vaccine or not.

The filing an IND application I presume would need to be RNS’d so hopefully we get this to ensure the US part of the trial is underway before the New Year.

Would also expect an RNS in the next couple of weeks with first dosing of patients. If this is the case, with the large number of infections worldwide (250,000+ today and over 90,000 people in critical/serious condition) the patients trial numbers should fill very quickly.

If this trial produces data even half as good as the phase 2 trial then it will be used extensively around the world to tackle this pandemic in the first quarter of next year.

Exactly. Taking time to develop tests that meet MHRA spec/sens requirements are more important than rushed tests to market. The governments testing approach is clearly POC/saliva/quick tests ready for deployment in q1 2021. IMO genedrives POC test will play a big part in moonshot in 2021.

People worried about missing the boat etc. Just re-read the last rns and have confidence. It ticks all the boxes coming out of the government around testing approach.
