RE: Noticed the BS?11 Dec 2018 19:15
The late reporting of trades are not MM games. They are supposed to help give an orderly market.
The MMs have committed to supplying 4m shares to a buyer (assuming it was a buy) - either they had achieved that by 4.30, or by offering a good price first thing today. We now know they didn't offer a good price first thing (highest trade today was 1.333p, I think). Demand fell away today, and so did the price. Nothing to do with games, nor with the unreported trade. What difference would it have made if we had known first thing? It might have boosted the price in the short term, sucked in a few more buyers, and then fallen back to where we are now, but maybe a little later.
In the non-immediate term, there would be no difference. Let's face it, if there had been real substance in the RNS, the SP would have soared past 2p, and probably held.
