Jimi that's what started it again but initially the problem.was MB didn't get permission from the local government.
It was simple as that and then the governor stopped the drill which then was allowed to be completed by the officials above.
Later PM took it to court but the case was thrown out.
SO MB messed it all up by going in to drilling without local permission.
Plus Locals are not very friendly towards mining companies because they don't benefit.

Simple solution is to offer locals good deal and we will not have any issues

Looking at how often the meetings take place. They take place almost every week.
Can't be far off now.

They were happy with PM just wanted PM to contribute provide local jobs and take care of the environment.
Then the activists got involved and it all went against PM. .

Based on Clause 17.1.10 of Article 17 of the Law on Administrative Territorial Units and Its Management, and Clause 8.4.8 of Article 8 of the Law on Environmental Impact Assessment, Erdenebadrah Bagi Citizens' Public Meeting DETERMINES:

1. Support the detailed environmental assessment report of Petro Matad LLC's oil exploitation "Matad XX field" located in Matad sum area of ??Dornod province executed by "HATANDALAI" LLC.

2. Order "Petro Matad" LLC to fulfill the recommendations for reduction and prevention of pollution, environmental management plan and environmental monitoring program included in the detailed environmental impact assessment report.

3. "Petro Matad" LLC should be instructed to create a favorable living environment for herdsmen and protect nature in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations, taking into account the opinions of the citizens of the team.

Environmental pollution assessment

on the partial discussion of the report

In accordance with Article 84.8 and 18.4 of the Law on Environmental Impact Assessment and Article 2.7 of the "Procedure for Ensuring Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment" MATAD, located in the 6th team area of ??Matad Sum, Dorno Province - The detailed evaluation report of the Baikal area of ??the project in the ?? area was presented by the executive director of Khatandalai LLC, L. Erdeni expert Ch. Bayantor, the head of the 6th team B.C.
