Petro Matad (MATD) - Market capitalisation: £47 million.

Velociraptor-1 exploration well, Mongolia: 100% MATD interest. Estimated spud date: June 2023. Resource estimate: 200 MMBO prospective. Chance of success: 20%.

MATD was better at 4.2p. The company announced the spud of Velociraptor-1 on 14 June 2023. The well is expected to take around 30 days to drill and in the event of encouraging results, the rig contract allows for follow up with an appraisal well.

MATD has been covered in the private blog as of interest since its placing at 2.5p to finance the Velociraptor drill. The share price reached a high of 7.1p prior to the spud.

Doz. IMO the villain in all this is PC and some corrupt local politicians.

They only raised an issue when Heron was being drilled which is the same reservoir as PC s .

Pc knew that block 20 PSC will come to an end and they will take it over. They probably threw some money at locals to keep this dragging until the time lapses and then PC will takeover.

Its too late now to ponder over the whole situation . We are not far off this LP from the government.

Doz i keep saying MB is not the right man for PM. You need to be active businessman to make money not a sloth that just goes along when the Mongols take you on a ride.

We are in this position because of his stupid decision not to get permit from local government and then taking the governor to court.

Any one with a small knowledge would tell you paperwork must be signed by local council before doing any work.

This is going up from next week onwards..

LP news won't be far off . Two more weeks and we should see the LP.

Cabinet meetings are taking place at least 2/3 times a month.

LP is not a failure because its still in the process.

MB forgot to do his homework and didn't get permission from local government and this is the only reason why we are in this situation.

But what is a mystery is why the locals are bothering PM for Heron well only, when Gazelle and Red deer was drilled in the same province and no issues were raised . They didn't stop the rig like they did at heron. It makes me wonder why. Is it because Heron is metres away from PC.

Since last year there has been no negativity against PM either form local council or the activists.

If there was an issue they would've turned up at the V1 site along with their friends.

I follow some politician fron dorno and the local governor and nothing has been mentioned regarding PM.

ONLY two agencies that need notifying so cant see the LP taking that long.

If its a duster then will drop 20% or so. If its a discovery expect this to be 10/15p plus

If the Mongolian government is going to invest in PM than this is the best time.

They could potentially have a some control in the oil market.

PC will not sell all of its oil to the Mongolian government..

The locals don't really have a reason for PM Land access refusal. PM has not violated any laws. Yet its treated very unfairly.

Some folk are here just to pull posters down. They are so called invested here but are not convinced LP will be given. How can you argue with folk like that. They talk utter c rap on daily bases with nothing to back themselves with.

Best to just ignore these folks . You will never win an argument with them.

Government will give LP. They have no choice. Contract has been signed and it'll be suicidal if they don't.

Since then there has been so much noise against PC. LOCAL GOVERNOR organised a protest and was on local news channel but PC still operating.

Once the government gives go ahead there's nothing locals can do.

The locals rejected it in end of September 2022 that's not recent

I would say only two agencies need to check the paperwork. Environment and tourism ministry.

I cant think of any other ministry who need to be informed.

I am positive that 3 weeks should be more than enough for LP to be passed off.

Side ways and them lift off to 8/9p duster and it will still remain at 7p Lp and this could be 15 p .

I think they should have work experience/open day style opportunity for shareholders to see exactly what happens in a company on a day to day bases. Every 6 months they should have a week of open days for investors to see and decide if its a right company for them and maybe have an input to improve the company operations.

Block 5 could be the biggest find in Mongolia.

Still a good chance.

I think 3 weeks and price should be up . Anticipation for both the results and LP
