As they were already in advanced talks in mediation for settlement it should be surprise if they're now back at the table. It's a great advantage for semnet and all shareholders.

Their legal team would interpret the registrar's reasons of rejection and would advise their clients if there were a realistic chance of winning the appeal. But not even getting a partial stay it seems its been made very clear.

Personally, I won't be surprised if the defendants dont appeal. Something about the rejection in it's entirety makes the ruling seem very definitive.

If the parties simply decide to settle, no application is normally required to start settlement discussions or to reach a settlement agreement.

The lawyers can:

Negotiate.

Agree terms.

Sign a settlement agreement.

At that point the dispute is settled between the parties.
