What's needed gs is a good kick up the ☆☆☆☆!! It's definitely stagnant at the moment but it's been maneuvering around this level for a while. I do have high hopes though. Im sure its only wordly circumstances thats causing the stagnation as opposed to TCGs own performance. Did you top up by the way?

Looks like Tcg are being used as a short term buy/sell cash cow again! They just can't sustain a decent rise.

Obviously only my opinion but I think you would be OK doing that. If you are going to do it I would do it sooner rather than later before the sp claws back anymore. Good luck

I personally have never been a short term buyer and seller of TCG but the way their sp swings unpredictably from one extreme to another in short periods of time and the general improving health of the company then it probably is a good time to top up. Many people use Tcg this way to make quick bucks so I would be surprised if you would lose by topping up in today's trough. But there is always that unpredictability and it is therefore always a gamble so you have to go with your gut feeling. Myself , well I have my quota of TCG at the moment and i have consolidated a couple of times in the past so i will sit tight for the medium to long term hoping that good dividends and an sp of 250--300 will eventually come. It's been there before , albeit in a more confident sector but in my view it can get there again.

Hi Yes who knows what tomorrow brings with Tcg. Still it all adds to the excitement of owning Tcg shares even though it is so frustrating. I am sure they are on the right track and improving and confident in the long term but please let's have more OOMPH from Mr F. He is after all our leader so to speak!

Hi gs. There are ways to put oomph into an update , ways to be more enthusiastic and upbeat when putting over a statement. PF dosnt seem to be able to do this. Look at some of the past Tui statements where their performance has been on par with Tcg and they always seem to put it over more positively and enthusiastically and give a more upbeat slant on it. They MAKE their statements exude confidence.

As I said lex1 , it's an underwhelming update. You can't look at that update and say WOW I'm going to buy 100k shares on the back of it!! It's all about giving investors confidence to buy and PF andTcg just don't exude much confidence , let's be real about it.

Big drop in US dow jones shares , almost 5%. Interesting to see if this reflects in UK shares in the morning?

I very much doubt it gs , not in the near future. As I stated the the other day I think the market has reacted pre-emtively over the past few days to this week's upcoming statement on Thursday , so in my opinion i think the news won't be that good , certainly not good enough for investors to get us over the 130 barrier. I'm not a pessimist , just a realistic. But whenever we do push through 130 then I think 150---160 is realistic but not 189. As stated only my opinion!

Pure over reaction to the the first quarter statement from Tcg. Not unexpected , as the reaction to any Tcg statement/update is always exaggerated.

What is it that OTB are doing and getting right that TCG can't? They are obviously getting something very right as their sp is shooting up.

Yes of course it will be a money making exercise for them. Can't knock them for that , they are a business after all and as such you have to take every opportunity to make money to feed your investors. Also provides an OPTION for holidaymakers. There if you want to pay for it , don't bother if you don't want it.
