Look at Mr. Fs demeanour in the video , it tells you all. Relaxed , casual , calm. Happy in the fact his job is safe. His sidekick being given the task of confirming the bad news to shareholders. Completely different to his previous tv interviews. It tells you all but the fine details of the deal are done and dusted and that shareholders have also been done and dusted.

Your right illbetabuck. They make it very clear in the video what is happening and what will be the end result. It's a done deal and it won't change.

So it is clear from the interview that the business will be split in two. The tour business will go private and be majority owned by Fosun and the airline will be where shareholders will have their stake. Interesting to note the change of wording as regards dilution of shares. In the rns the dilution would be SIGNIFICANT , in the video the dilution will be HUGE! Big difference in the significance of those two words.

Everyone has an opinion. The proof is in the pudding so to speak! Let's just wait and see the end result then we will see who's opinion is correct. Good luck to all the genuine investors on here.

Your missing the point!! Naivety springs to mind. There will be no administration of Tcg. Fosun have have already impounded Tcg in everthing but name and if you think a company always declares events when they legally should then you are gullible and shouldn't be investing. We just havnt been told all the facts yet and how exactly investors will bear the brunt.

Went in a branch of Thomas Cook today to find out the details of a holiday they were advertising in their window. The staff and mood in the shop was very buoyant and upbeat. I asked them is it safe for me to book a TC holiday due to the situation of the company and they overwhelmingly said yes and stated that they had just been TAKEN OVER by a company called Fosun so there was absolutely no problem. Not sure what they have been told or what they have been told to say but the mood in the shop did not reflect a sinking company.
The deal has obviously been done as most of us on here already know and Tcg is safe but the only unknown is how this will reflect on the investors.

Your absolutely right Siborg. It is now so patently obvious that the bod and Fosun were planning this scenario for a long time. There was never going to be any other outcome regarding other bids/offers. That was just a sham process created by the bod and Fosun to achieve their aims. All this tie up of ventures between these two parties were very obviously set up for this end result. It is now so clear.

Notaflipper they have said the debt for equity swap will be negative to shareholders ie dilution but they havnt said it will be negative to current prices!! We assume it will be but the bod havnt said that!! That is the unknown.

And that's why they changed their reference from shareholder to stakeholder!!

Dont get too excited. The increase is purely a reaction to Darts rns , nothing more. It's nothing Tcg themselves have done.

If the airline , Nordic business is sold and then the rest to Fosun , are we left with an empty shell of the listed company worth nothing for investors? I am still thinking back to that very specific change of wording from shareholders to stakeholders which was obviously done for a reason!

Don't get me wrong G3672 , I still have an optimistic outlook for Tcg but I just don't trust this bod with our money!

Good balanced view gas man and I like your optimism but pione3rs post about the bod is equally viable only the opposite to yours. Mr F did state that that he wasn't there to get the sp up in that appallingly interview he did and why wouldnt they do something to support the sp if they had it in their locker? Surely it would be better sooner than later if there was anything good to say even if it was only something small?

You would think Tcg would have come out with something by now to support the dropping sp. Makes me think there is nothing good to say?

Virgin mean business?? Virgin didn't give a damn about the Flybe shareholders. If you think their robbery of Flybe was good then you aint living in the real world my friend!
