Correction ---- almost 10.5% increase in Frankfurt at end of trading !!

Tui finished almost 7% up today in Frankfurt so bodes well for tomorrow on LSE ------ hopefully!!

I know Tui dont just operate in the Uk which is great in comparison to Jet2 but the UK is a big market for them. Someone please give me some positivity!!

I agree LetsTry. Very difficult to see any light at the end of the tunnel. Sure they are a well run company but the situation for future holidays at the moment is dire.

And we still have the prospect of a no deal brexit which is getting more and more likely , unless the state the UK is now in persuades the UK to alter their stance on a compromise deal!

Its a mess. When the vaccines started to appear and approved things started to look positive for Tui. Now there are adverse reactions to the pfizer vaccine , new virus variant , fuller lockdown in UK and other countries , countries banning flights from UK because of new variant. !! Tui are absolutely at their borrowing limits , their RI income is spoken for already. Probably got enough to get them through the next six months!! There just seems to be no end in sight to these problems. So my question to everyone on this board is --- Where is any good Tui news going to come from??

The plane driver on this board has never seen the inside of a ****pit. Like I said yesterday , you really do have to laugh at some of the posters on here. I genuinely feel sad for fantasists like this , especially at this time of year. Hindsight is a great thing aspers , after an event. The outcome of RIs are not the same for every company. Some give you a great opportunity to make money , others dont. The fact is this could go either way , no one knows. You have to make your own judgements based on market sentiment and sp at the time and ultimately it is the same as any share deal you do , which is ----you take a gamble!! In it to win it or in it to lose. Everybody make your own minds up but don't base it on other people's comments or opinions on this board

There is no right answer. The sp will probably go lower ( but not necessarily ) after the dilution but by how much purely depends on the market. It is completely an unknown and no one can predict it. It is purely opinions at this stage.

So private investors can sell their entitlements if they don't buy them themselves?

Am I right in saying that anyone who is entitled to RI shares can actually sell those entitlements without taking up the offer themselves? I seem to remember I did that with TC.

AndItsGone , where does Tui state the entitlement of 25 for 29 please , can't see anything in the rns?

No disrespect intended but I wouldn't say Tui are financially secure , full stop. They have enough cash to see them through summer but at great debt and possible detriment to shareholders with the RI. In my opinion we have to be looking into 2022 before we see any real recovery for TUI and as such they still might not have enough cash reserves to cope. What happens then?

Tui says --- "there will be a reduction of Tui s share capital to facilitate the rights issue'' !! What does this reduction mean?
