It is good to see that Nano has plans to increase the 10k sq ft and fitted out by July. Does show they can move quickly and grow the business. Infrastructure can grow at the same pace and ahead of staff recruitment/training

I could be wrong but I believe it was from an Edison report that a kg is worth US38. Samsung rely on other panel makers they do not have enough capacity for their own brand.

To put life into context there was 229m TVs sold in 2017 https://www.statista.com/statistics/461316/global-tv-unit-sales/ Nano at 1000kg pa can produce enough dots to make 60,000 75" panels per month. Doubling capacity comment needs some interpretation and leaves some margin for error. Capacity was 1000kg before a 2nd shift with recruitment capacity was 2000kg. With small capital investment capacity is 3000kg and a little easing of the process. This is a major investment and doubling of capacity. So I would think we are moving into 6000kg territory.

Will HP set their BFGM purely as a gaming monitor or as as BFPC monitor. They sell over 14m pc monitors a year.

First chance to catch up today. Interesting developments at PLT and that they were bought by Osram. This makes great sense with the joint venture between Osram and Merck with a research budget of 9m euro into the use of QDs. Looks they already have a product that needs to be converted from cad to cadfree. Needed Merck to be able to contribute to a realistic investment to achieve results. Understandable where Nano are not to have the capital for the next product line. At least Nano will be providing the QDs to Merck.

The Apple link so far with Nanoco is Innolux/Foxconn who are listed as potential display clients. At Touch Taiwan it was Foxconn who was the panel maker for the Apple 8k TV that was displayed.

NW yes agree recruitment is a clear indication demand will exceed annualised 1000kg. Of course as panels increase above 55" the number of panels produced from this output will diminish.

The latest presentation in Korea is interesting in what it does not state. Kang Dexin is not on the list of Nano clients which is not surprising as they are a client of Dow. This then makes the listing by Nano of TCL as a client interesting as it suggests Nano is supplying TCL direct. We have also seen this although it is less obvious with AUO.
