Good to see a director buying however at the moment I find that unsettling. Under normal circumstances obviously ok after the close period. However he is dealing when holding privileged information. As there is an NDA in force he is aware who the US partner/client is in preference to most other investors and as we have been told/confirmed today this is the most significant bit of knowledge one can have at present. Ie Nano’s largest potential revenue stream. So what is the FCAs view on how long an NDA should be in force and investors kept in the dark? And should Directors buy when having privileged information.

Ps what would be more than interesting about this in the display presentation from Pickett the majority of panels not using qds were below £1k. These panels are priced at £700 and if that is the case will be mass market affordable and would be a breakthrough for qds.

Hi NW sorry had to retrace a bit to recall the reason for the related messages. Anandtech reported the Acer TN panel Z271UV with qd film then the same outfit reported AOC had announced two new panels in 2017 due in April and May 2018 that appeared to be based on the same AUO panel. These are AG273QCX and AG273QCG both delayed. All this was evidenced in attachments below. I have just read the QCX is a VA panel by Samsung which is curious and is due Dec 2018. The other panel QCG is a TN panel so far not confirmed it is AOU, but it has a similar format to theAcer panel above and is due Nov 2018.
The Samsung panel is of interest would Samsung have capacity to use their dots. I was interested in Picketts comments that they had strong demand for CFQDs from major oems.

Sorry both those articles are 2017 but they appear to be relevant as so far as I am aware TN panels with that format have not been released but are due this year.

Presumably gone to patent as tests successful. I see they have used Oakwood labs in the US to submit patent. To me this has significant use world wide.

But any new product line costs can be capitalised and then depreciated over time of the life of the product or other reasonable time in line with firms accounting policies. Any cost relating directly to getting the product to market can be capitalised and will be capex. The agreement could restrict funding up to a point. But the U S partner will not want N to have to be distracted by raising capital they will want them to get to the finish line unincumbered. The milestones are achieving targets and are usually a pure benefit to encourage focus and goals to be met.
