Harry, you should take a look at the larger trades today, plenty over £1m

It is very surprising that someone could be allowed to short a share BEFORE they release a report that they must realistically KNOW will impact the share price negatively. It sounds like the very definition of market manipulation to me.

Much like directors having to wait before good news is out, to buy (as BUR BOD did today following their response), one would assume that MW should have waited until AFTER their report to short sell.

Meaningless, Harry. Will have to wait til tomorrow AM to see where we are at. My guess is about 720, with a sharp rise to follow right on the bell, unless MW comes back in the meantime

Looks to have gone into a a second auction which will take it in to close, interesting. Will stop any last minute sells AND buys in to close. Tomorrow morning is sure to be volatile

For me, the main thing that discredited Muddy Waters report was them saying "if you ignore the 4 main cases.. etc". Why on EARTH would anyone do that? Like saying "If you remove USA, China, Germany, Japan from the GDP figures, you'll see the world is only worth half as much as people thought". Its not exactly insightful is it, and a transparent attempt at deramping.

Another no brainer to buy before the investor call, it can't contain anything but good news, the exact situation as the 3pm MW interview yesterday, but in reverse

I doubt the directors have even started buying yet - how long does clearance take? Also I'm not convinced muddy waters will be buying any back yet either, at the very least they will reply to the RNS, hope to drag the price back down, and exit this time around.

It does seem like a bit of a no brainer, youre right. A share buy announced by directors, a share buy back considered by the company, and the strongest rebuttal I remember seeing. It feels like free money at the moment, but AIM is always an odd place.

I just can't get over what an odd target Muddy Waters picked here. I presume the will be a re-rebuttal then a further re-re-rebuttal. Will be interested to see where this ends, my guess is Muddy Waters will slowly slink off to another target having made a good amount of money here. The buyback from them will push the price back over 1000 but Im not convinced it will climb back to the level it was before the attack, in the short term at least
