I was specifically told by by Trevor that there would be no running commentary, there would only be an RNS when something was concrete.
My view on the share and possible scenarios.
1) HVO are in talk(s) with major pharmas and it is taking a long time to reach a deal but a deal will be reached.
2) HVO have been approached or have approached all of the major pharmas who may be interested and every single one has been a dead end
3) HVO had a few chats with pharmas, but felt Thier time was better invested elsewhere.
I'm sure we can agree that 3) seems very unlikely, they didn't put the time, money, and effort into the development only to let it go to waste through laziness. I don't believe any right-minded CEO would allow this to happen, and Trevor certainly seems to have his head screwed.
If all options had been exhausted for 2) one would expect them to look for funding to go it alone (with Seek), yet there is no news to that effect.
So 1), they are in talks with one or more major pharmas and it is taking a long time to thrash out a deal. Let us hope HVO have more business acumen about them than we give credit for, and some some string negotiators on the case, perhaps playing one off another.
Other points:
We have just had Jupiter buy 11% from Woodford, althought the total owned by II hasn't changed, this is as good as an institutional buy as Woodford is a distressed seller yet Jupiter is a buyer with all the time in the world and they have seen enough here to take an 11% stake.
I know I mention it from time to time but over 100 employees were given share incentive of about 14000 each (if I remember correctly), in the months that followed there was one sale to match that amount, ONE. 100 people on the inside, are holding on to their shares for the long haul, if there was no buzz in the offices, no rumours circulating, no chats in the pub after work quietly advising them to "hold on to them for now..." I think you would have seen a fair few of these pop up.
Patience, we know how much HVO can fly on tiny volumes as so much is held by II. Im expecting either a sale of flu v or a buyout of Immutex entirely. I'm guessing the most likely will be selling flu-v for a strong upfront amount, with milestone payments to follow, but a total sale of the rights may be better for the less patient wanting a quicker, albeit smaller buck.
Good luck to all the holders, we've held for a long time, no sense in throwing in the towel now, no news is good news I believe.
