It says on Primary Bid that the offer has close - is this because it hasn't opened yet or because the offer has been fully bought?

If the latter, why wouldn't people have bought on the market instead as the price is less than the offer and also why HAS the price fallen below the offer?

Jsmith, just to set you right on one thing, if the JV were spun out to a new listing then existing shareholders WOULD benefit from it, they would also own shares in the spun out company (though diluted by new investors). It would probably be a 1/1 share deal.

Yes demon, we can have the usual argument about whether they need to declare at 4 and 3%, but they most certainly SHOULD declare breaching 5%. Whether they do or not, is a different question.

They could give their entire holding to a market maker to work on over time, thus making their holding fall from 5.xx to 0 in one notification, when the trade goes through fully.

Has a deal ever been offered to them? I know CF talked about the Chinese investors he was speaking to today who may be interested in buying them out, but prior to that there was no talk of buying out invesco I don't think

Yes, hoping for RNs this week but even if not, we know for certain Cathal is doing an interview/presentation and the language/tone/cathals demeener will be very important for everyone and we hope it won't just be another "exciting things in the weeks and months ahead" with targets that get missed

I don't really see potential with government contracts for this because the 10-minute turnaround is the most exciting part of it and the government have no need for such a fast result. I do however see huge potential interest from pubs restaurants cinemas clubs etc who could effectively have a holding pen for people for 10 minutes to wait for a results before allowing entry, presumably making the customer pay £10 themselves for the test to allow them the freedom of a "normal" social activity, I know I would happily pay that. I just wonder about the practical side of it because if open orphan have to process the tests in East London then this negates the 10-minute result benefit, and if they are doing them out and about that poses a logistical problem. Of being in multiple places at a time.

I'm hoping our involvement goes beyond just processing occasional tests. Maurice's linked in activity is a bit conflicting as he states a "partnership" which implies we have had a good amount of input but then said that he didn't seem it price sensitive

So it looks like orph are indeed doing testing for this saliva test, not sure how that manifests itself if the turnaround is 10 minutes unless they people out in the field? If they are only £10 each I'm not convinced this is going to have much impact for us, though clearly good news even if it's small.

I don't understand orphs part in this- just a UK distributor? Nice if we have some sort of exclusivity contract but I can't see that being the case. Aren't we just using our premises to do some of the testing or something?
