I really think we need to see some leadership from the BoD. A big part of the role in an earlier stage/smallcap is about managing the relationship with shareholders and value creation. I think there’s something going on in the background, but in the meantime shareholder confidence and value are being eroded. If we can’t be told what’s happening in detail, they should at least be offering some reassurance. Come on Lorna - let’s hear what you have to say please.

I can sell (test only) many millions on HL but for only just over 1p. Stock is being hoovered up at this price. I can’t buy (test only) anything.

Why would people spend so much time here talking down a share. Are they short? Possibly, but pennies and therefore largely irrelevant. Most likely they’re seeking the lowest possible buy price for their pennies or they’re paid to do so. Least likely of course is that they’re here to help others make good decisions. Solution? Ignore them.

Good morning. IMO, no one here has yet set out a compelling explanation for what happened yesterday. I’m also slightly suspicious that the RNS, whilst factually correct, was deliberately prudent and slightly equivocal. I think someone’s on manoeuvres in the background. All will be revealed.

RHJ: I suggest you read the RNS and develop your own opinion on why rather than take Herbie’s work of fiction on face value. I for one have no idea and if they’re honest no one here really knows.

It seems to me that most people (including me) don’t really know what’s going on here. Many are posting in hope rather than expectation, usually aligned to their desire to move the SP one way or the other. IMO the RNS was positive and that’s the one thing we all have access to which actually provides information from someone known and accountable. Of course there’s risks (including finding future operational activity) which require personal calibration depending on one’s risk appetite, but it seems to me that we are continuing to progress in the right direction. Instinctively, I feel there’s something happening in the background which we don’t know about yet and I suspect it’s around the transition from discovery to production. Good luck to all genuine investors and traders.

Although the vast majority of the derampers (who will shortly be rampers using a different pseudonym) are easy to spot with their wild gloom-mongering, there’s also some good tradecraft being displayed by some of them today. Look for the passive and agreeable tone with most of the message being uncontentious, but laced with the subtle but essential attack on sentiment.

At some point next week (maybe as early as Monday) we should see an RNS about strage 2 of the EWT and probably subsequent to that a full integrated analysis. Today’s SP action suggests to me that (unlike last Friday afternoon) nothing has been widely leaked. That’s good IMO.

As for this afternoon’s BB, I feel embarrassed for some posters who are posting utter nonsense and/or behaving like children. To those posters, please stop and if you can’t control yourself, please do one.

Good morning. It seems to me that nothing is certain but the most likely scenario is that we now experience a rise into an RNS next week and unless something unforeseen happens it’s reasonable to expect the RNS to be on the positive side. Next step after that will be a commerciality assessment. Of course there’s people on here (genuine and fake) who will claim extreme outcomes will happen, positive and negative, and of course they could be right, but I’m taking a positive but prudent view. IMO hold/buy depending on your personal circumstances.

No matter how ludicrous some posts are on here, as a general rule I read them all and never block anyone - I’m interested in hearing everyone’s opinion and more importantly the useful information and insights that some people share. That said, yesterday and today the volume of inaccurate, partial and dishonest content is off the scale. It seems to me that everything apart from the EWT results is noise and that’s where smart investors will focus and decide to buy, hold or sell. IMO, it’s a buy or hold depending on your holding/risk appetite.

Two important issues for a lender - can the borrower service the debt and can they repay it as per the terms. On the first point, having material revenue is certainly desirable if not essential, othwise how does the business service it? If you can’t raise debt then it’s equity which means dilution. The acquisition makes sense in theory - now about execution.
