The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Thanks for that. Mind boggling figures. I guess the length of time Crst have had these varies enormously It must be a huge step deciding when to develop as in theory the value of the land is always up and once development commences you are stuck with the house sale figures whatever they might turn out to be? A rising asset that requires no maintenance. The monies used to buy such land is it split between borrowed monies and retained profits? In other words what is the finance costs to CRST to hang onto Land?l
Hello Shan...Three years later are you still invested here? Would you invest now? Cheers
Just to clarify JT stands for.....?
Thanks for that illustration. So as the market in the south is hardening..and it is....people in my experience want to go Multi-agency. So it appears another nail in the medium term here for PB.
This is a great litte narrative. Even if 50% comes true I ll be happy. So I ve topped up. By the way I notice folk has stopped talking about that red herring...The Gold Price!!
Can anyone inform us of the Landbank value CRST hold? and its geographical distribution?
Extraordinary isn't ....and with a p e of some 427per cent...You have ask yourself why we even look at p e ..ever..?!!
My mate , always an eye on saving costs, looked at using PB to sell his his Alfriston cottage on PB. He tells me he couldnt use another agency or the terms were too draconian. Has he got the wrong end of the stick or is it difficult to use PB and other agents?
The shorters are VERY active in CRST.....XEROS.....and others. All have FD s . Not to sound reproachful but what can a FD do in these situations?
I would be really curious if any body out there had IMG stock. THis company once a darling too of Aim had mega contracts with Apple. Apple pulled the plug and within say Four months the Chinese bought it. It is now delisted. IF anyone knows the nuts and bolts of what happened I think it would help us IQE holders to see how to react here. I am a natural bear and would buy further stock but bot if the shorters might have other agenda....and catch us out......
I love your enthusiasm but I ve got to ask are you a programmed robot.?!
Nicely put. Not many folk post here talking about the actual chemistry of the production of Graphene. But as as the chemists say to get from the lab bench to manufacturer in meaningful quantities is a huge leap yet to be completed by any outfit out there. No one is disagreeing that Graphene is 200 stronger than steel etc etc....but we are waiting for the manufacturing breakthrough. Why do you think the Institute of Graphene in Manchester hasn't produced many VRS ? As for me I bought at 13 p and was annoyed I didn't buy at 11p dips ...sounds daft now but it's true. Anything above 50 p I thought was a gift from Heaven. Neil Ricketts is a Graphene messiah. A brilliant prophet with the P R dexterity of a teenager blogger...and that's a compliment. He really is the guy who could sell ice to the Eskimos....but is he going to be the Andrew Carnige of Graphene. Time will tell....
This short tracker link is brilliant. If it's correct my mind is put at rest that PB is not being shorted. cheers...
As a newb to share holding when a company delays reporting accounts is it necessary a bad or good thing? Also I ve been reading about the Shorters? Does anyone thing Purplebricks could be a target ?
I m fairly well read in the financial j press. I first saw Xeros covered in the Ft . Small cap focus which does good resumes on small cap companies. Then INVESTORS chronicle covers Xeros serveral times as a BUY recommendation. But I wasn't convencied. But when I saw it hit 60 p I thought It couldn't dip further. Lo and behold it has. Those Yorkshire directors must be having a laugh getting the Southern cash in. And somewhere along the line wining and dining those financial journalists....I tell you the PR Guys at this outfit are worth hiring if nothing else.... Opinion....Hold....Dogs might fly...
Dear Supercharger... Thank you for your informative post. Could I pick your experienced brains in general terms? I have three stocks including ACA that are currently being shorted. So if I my aim is to be a majority shareholder as say Mr Chinaman I go to a hedge fund say Blackrock or Odey. I " borrow " my target stock for a fee. I watch for a deep dip in the target stock and then sell my "borrowed" stcck. I build up my holding. Then at the right price I return the borrowed stock to the hedge fund. Is this how the shorters are working ? And in how many instances do they achieve their goals. Often I guess it is just to make money rather than gain and keep control .? If anyone else can clarify this I would be eternally grateful.
Right now I am witnessing shorting on three stocks in my portfolio.....ACA...a miner. ...Xeros Technologies...a washing machine developer not using water and Here. As here the posts are full of theories . It appears that the aggressive hedgers have come up with their mechanism to make money in this otherwise flat market. When we try to second guess their game plan we must always beare in mind their pockets are deep....very deep. In two of the above stocks we thought that 100 was the bottom....but hey no! They for sure have behavioural economists second guessing what we might be thinking. ..and advising accordingly. I should lastly add that IQE was brought to my attention in posts on the IMAGINATION TECHNOLOGIES stock.. At the time Apple basically dumped them as a software developer if I remember rightly. Of course the stock went south. Now this little clever developer is in Chinese hands. So the blessings and cruelty of having an huge customer are all too obvious. And watch out for that not so cute Panda...
Now which companies are making these anti depressants?!! And did someone state they bought £70 000 ACA a few months back? There are some big bears out there. Mark my words at these levels the China bear Mr Panda will stir ....and other smaller bears...this company is not worth nothing!!
Morning...So I see my Highland Gold shares up 3.81% and ACA down 6.54 %. Good innit accept I ve got more ACA than HG. Whatever talks or non talks are happening concerning the export of gold from Tanzania and whatever views are expressed here on the smallest amount of information we are fed I M NOT selling out just yet. But you ve got to have balls of steel sorry gold to wait for the magnificiant rise my friends it will come to those that wait and wait......I implore you to hang on!
Whether you believe there will be a hard or soft Brexit deal is a matter if faith. I believe there will be UK special relationship. When this is apparent the Uk Stocks will boom. ...most of them even CRST !...So if you like dividends stick here.
