I am not trying to ridicule you. I apologise if that is how you feel as it is not my intention. I just find it difficult to take serious your very detailed posts. I am an avid reader of your posts, and have been for months, the consistent common thread that runs through them is a very detailed consistency of incorrect predictions. You say you make tens of thousands of pounds using this system. How?

I have not ruled out that maybe I am the idiot in the room. Please educate me how you make your money using your calculations with idiot proof examples please. I am seriously interested to know.

I hope you well. I know, " cheer up and leave the early morning scotch alone " !! It is frustrating however that repeatedly since March, this rises like a sloth only to crash back like a lead balloon. Months into the recover, tons upon tons of good trading conditions and here we are, low 300s and maybe lower to go not to be ruled out. The slightest hint of any bad news and down we go.

You know what the same old stale responses will be to your post.
1. The whole markets down not just BP
2. As we get near to Q2 results this will rocket.
3. Oils down so BPs down, mantra.
4. The charts, parallel lines, channels and pivot tops show this will rise soon.
5. Have patience, this will be 600p by next whenever.
6. Buy on the dips
7. Great top up opportunity. Its soo cheap
8 will not be this price for long

Correct. Looney repeated this in the Times article just a few days ago. " cash returned to shareholders via buybacks " Like it or not thats not going to change any year soon.

Looney would lose all credibility with the market.

Tobacco stocks do pay good dividends but thats not the point. Most investors in Tobacco stocks like the regular good income and don't expect Tobacco shares to have much share price growth.

Most investing in BP are gambling on substantial share price growth that may not happen for the reasons I mention.

Its could be a double whammy with BP . Low dividend payments for years as they redirect profits into a green hole and possibly no real share price growth as a result.

At some point in the future, the recovery in the oil price will plateau and reduce, the boom years of cash from this recovery period will end. The green transition will be unfinished and a battle between, investor returns and investment could see BP undone. No wonder institutional investors are weary.

Its not beyond the possibility that you will get another chance at 302 or less. This share has no real strength to climb anywhere.

Investment institutions have moved out of fossil fuel companies and I fear this will not change regardless of BP being seen as a ' cash machine ' by many on this forum.

Without their investment all Oilers could stagnate. Being undervalued now, based on the old BP model, may not lead to the re-rating many believe will happen. BP could end up with a low p/e ratio and still remain with its negative sentiment, avoided and ignored as investors move away en masses.

BP's transition is at an early stage. Their green makeover could take 10 to 20 years and 10s of billions before any real return on this investment is attractive enough for investment institutions to return.

This is not the BP of old. A new normal means that why demand for oil remains and will grow, institutional investor's ESG policies, corporate infiltration and pressure from tge anti fossil fuels lobbyist, media campaigns and pressure from the US, EU, and every individual Western government, BP and the other Oilers could be shunned and as remain as unfashionable as tobacco stocks.

Thanks also for the 'heads up' from the unamed financial chart guru who cautioned that " there is still a gap that needs to be filled at £2.62 !! Ah, all now makes sense.

I am grateful for the time you spend posting but, in analysis of all your posts over recent months, I have come to you conclusion that you post meaningless calculations of nonsense and gobbledygook as useful or reliable as Mystic Meg's horoscopes or lottery predictions, only difference being Mystic Meg strikes lucky every now and again.

Maybe I am to stupid to see the worth of your posts but in “The Emperor's New Clothes,” it only took one simple peasant to point at the King and says " look the King is naked " before everyone then saw the silly King, pointed at him and started laughing. How could they have been so gullible?

They, like us, know nothing. Forget Q2 fundamentalist chanting 350 by Q2, this dinosaur company is an out of fashion and going nowhere soon.

Time to either reevaluate and move on or tie up funds for years to come on a mediocre dividend, with a company spaffing investor's cash down the drain.
