I think you called this right a number of weeks ago and faced a barrage of stupidity in response. It all seems to be aligning now. Tough decisions to be made on riding it out or suffering selling at a small loss in the hope of re-entering. Decisions decisions.

Then the hustle begins, the monthly inflation figures are released and the scam is triggered regardless of the actual inflation report the equity mafia pump and dump shares and manipulate the market.

Their justification for the scam.

If inflation is high that is bad for the economy and market so DUMP.

IF inflation is low that means the recovery is slowing so DUMP also. I legalised racket akin to the Mafia.

and next ? Maybe a manufactured coordinated correction but only when the markets have been pumped more and when no one will expect it. Is this just markets working normally or massive corruption?

Regardless of BP's fundamentals. I fear the US markets are about to have a sizable correction and they are going to drag the UK and more importantly BP down with it. So I am reducing my holding as painlessly as I can in the hope of getting out before the probable happens

No you are so wrong mate. I detest the lack of progress of this share. The repetitive dips after struggling to make tiny progressions. After months of monitoring this failure I can assure you I take no pleasure at all. Oil at $74 and its still at pathetic levels. That's what I feel.

"This share defies logic" Apologies in advance for an uneducated question but this has me scratching my head.

BP are buying back around 5m shares per day yet the price does not rise out of a small trading range, in fact since the buybacks begun this quarter, the SP has fallen from around 310. The daily buybacks seem to make no difference. At best you could say that the BB's have slowed the downward direction.

So to my question. If BP is such an undervalued stock, why are there so may investors willing to keep selling at these ' undervalued ' levels ? It seems there is an endless number of shares being dumped each day to supply the buyback requirements. If not then surely the SP would be rising. Supply and demand. Too much over supply of daily sellers against buybacks and buyers weaker demand.

If 5 million shares were not buybacked every day, where would the SP be today or in the future ? The answer has to be lower does it not ?

Could it be institutions are selling knowing this is going to fall a lot further from here.?

Any opinion would be much appreciated.

I do not see how investing billions in electric vehicle charging points in a market where most EV charging is free or near free, battery power / distance is improving by the month, with 500+ miles between charge requirements makes investment sense. In reality, how much is going to be made from these white ( green) elephant investments ?

They will be outdated and obsolete before making a decent return for the vast waste of investment. Expensive green virtual signaling.

Free charging will remain as perks or loss leaders in workplaces, supermarkets, retail, leisure parks and at most notably convenient charging at owners homes.

How many EV owners are going to be forced into paying at a BP charging point. I would guess a minority.

Its the equivalent of buying Blockbusters in a streaming / online world.

Only one opinion on BP and the future but this seems to be on trend with the current performance and direction of the SP

100% right. The market is dire at the moment and I would not be surprised to see things deteriorate from here.

I keep reading posts about how undervalued BP is, as if, we know something that the Institutional investors do not.

The value of BP is what it is today, an ever reducing value and sliding share price as over the past three months.

I am now reducing my holding in BP as I do not see the transition adding value anytime soon, if ever. Too many risks outweigh any uncertain future reward. Many equities have dipped but most after decent rises over time. BP is too shaky and weak. 100% positive news for all this year and it's a duff. I can only imagine what would happen to the shaky SP on any negative news.

Hi guys, I agree on US markets but european / uk markets are undervalued.

In your opinions, do you see any correction having that much effect over here beyond a mild dip and a quick rebound possibly ?
