Obviously not worried about playing down profits in front of the green lobby if that was Shell's strategy pre Cop26

Hi mate, I hope all's well with you. I am really pleased to see you are back posting.

Your posts have always been a good read, opinionated and with your willingness to put your money where your mouth is.

I hope Ether is performing well for you, not something I have much knowledge of but may take a look just out of interest. ( watch out come Christmas? )

One thing that has raised its ugly head again, since your return from your break, is the 'oven ready' default, hate response for your posts, now even from newbies who, I would not be surprised, have not read many of your posts, chats and opinions.

You are right. The silence of the bulls*** brigade after todays drop, on here and BP, is deafening.

Every quarter these clowns appear then disappear until the next quarter after spouting garbage.

" Truly astonishing results " " cash cow " Brent at $84 and yet the SP drops and the bulls*** repetitive excuses continue. " oils having a tough few days!! "

Roll on Q4 ......... yawn

Extraordinary enough to please the market and move the SP. ? Most extraordinary oil major Q3 results have been met with SP stagnation or falls recently.

Could a dividend increase be on its way ?

OSLO, Oct 28 (Reuters) - Norway's Aker BP said
on Thursday it would increase its dividend payout as
third-quarter profits soared on the back of strong oil and gas
prices.

Earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) for July-September
rose to $849 million from $242 million a year ago, lagging the
$868 million expected by analysts in a Refinitiv poll.

"The company continued maturing its project portfolio,
including the NOAKA project where the development concept has
been selected and the resource estimate has been increased,"
Aker BP's Chief Executive Karl Johnny Hersvik said.

"Based on a historically strong financial position, the
company has decided to increase its quarterly dividends from
November 2021," he added.

The company controlled by Norwegian billionaire Kjell Inge
Roekke and partly owned by BP increased its quarterly
dividend to $0.4165 per share from $0.3124 per share.

OSLO, Oct 27 (Reuters) - Norway's Equinor posted
its strongest quarterly result in nine years on Wednesday,
driven by a global energy supply crunch that pushed Europe's
natural gas prices to record highs and sent the value of
derivative contracts soaring.

Equinor has the largest exposure to spot gas prices among
big oil companies and its results come ahead of those due from
Shell this week and BP next.

Equinor beat analysts forecasts. Excellent results.....shares down 3.25% ? Same fate for Shell & BP possibly?

Why bother posting a negative post about another investor's strategy. I don't see the point. Snide comments are never clever even if you think you will look so in posting them.

Maybe just crack on with your strategy and allow others to do the same without the spite would be a good idea.

I am wondering where the markets are going to next. There doesn't seem to be any momentum to push on. Markets drop then recover but no push upwards. It seems the start of a correction has commenced a few times but then dip buyers bring it back up to the same level. I don't see the earning season going forward across all industries being positive, oilers maybe an exception,

interesting times to be on the sideline.
