Flugal Im not certain but whenever I get an off book order its always negotiated direct with an RSP (mm). Off book is exactly that so wont reach the order book so cant alter the bid / offer spread or the price

For an automated stop loss order many times a broker will just cash out their client and hold the stock themselves, so no stock actually reaches the book. Also I wouldnt imagine you would you use a stop loss on that volume to be honest, but if a client did the broker would just go direct off book to the mm

You could view 25/28/29 Sept as an evening star (bearish) but for the probability (of reversal) to hit 76% it needs confirmation.

Otherwise its continuation of the uptrend. No other indicators led me to think its a reversal. This is why you need to combine western and eastern signals to bring up the % accuracy and even then its never certain

Unfortunately I dont see any reason for shorts to close / reduce as yet. They can easily just play off the fear of the unknown. We do appear to be forming resistance at 240 but lets see how this closes.

Its never a value trap. Alpha is clueless...Stockopedia uses that classification (amongst others) and is the best site by a country mile for analysing shares. On Stockopedia MCRO is correctly classified as Contrarian with a value rank of 92 and Quality of 51...its the the momentum (of 3!) which will be "shorted out" soon

100 a rough rule of thumb for shorts is to double the value declared below 0.5%. I used to have a euroclear account which will show you all shorts (at the end of the previous month) but they have started to charge heavily for that facility. Infront finance also it do but again its an expensive subscription

With all due respect Its not Monty..total shorts are over 6% (including those under 0.5%) which equals 20million+ shares to be bought back and replaced..thats a hell of alot of buying momentum that must come at some point as the shorts reduce/close

Reducing the dividend will "encourage" shorters to reduce as they have to cover the dividend whilst also attracting those you've stated

I would be wary with the seeking Alpha article. It tells only half a story. Look at MCRO on stockopedia for a more detailed view

Lonlon poor sales issues should have triggered an RNS and they cant just put out RNS's to counter price drops, there are market regs, suspect you are short

My suspicion is the 2011 level of 240 or 2008 of 220 but then they may still cling onto the downward momentum, BUT the CCI indicator is now oversold for 7 days and RSI has just gone into oversold..very rarely do they hold oversold for more than 3 or 4 days together (although yesterday evening star is a bearish continuation signal giving the existing downtrends) BUT all trends come to an end..hoping for a reversal signal soon and finding more cash to buy at 240 the 220 if necessary

But the $1 Billion reduction is less than 25% of revenue and at the time of the $4754m revenue (2018) the stock was £24.02

On 2021 estimated revenue of $2967m gives a 33.8% decline yet the SP is down 89.38%
