Poker yes as has been the case with PFC for some time they need to improve the operating margin in a nut shell.

Forecast Net Profit for PFC 2020 is $43.4m..pretty good compared to the many companies figures Ive seen for 2020 let alone the drop in SP regarding a non existent fine coming from a non existent charge after nearly 4 years..

Check my logic as it well be wrong. The profit decline is inline with expectations. I have simply taken 2019 Net Profit (NP) $1469 Vs the median figure estimate for the 12 brokers who cover the stock @ $553m. Figures could be sewed / inflated for 2019 due to HP as previous data on NP $m are 2014= 122 2015= 102 2016= 163 2017 =158 2018=784 2019= 1,469 2020e=553 . It could well be an unfair comparison. In terms of historical MCRO im learning as I go

In terms of impairment it would affect goodwill thats all. I think the market expects a reduction in goodwill. Only small but I expect we will see that

Are we expecting any indication of impairment or rather a reduction in goodwill (if so to what $Bn?)

I am right in thinking we are looing for a leverage multiple circa x2.5 to EBITDA (or at least <3)?

Any other key factors to look out aside from estimate forecast and priced in, Rev decline of 10.7% and Net profit decline of 62.5% (SP decline 72%+)

OilBul if you dont need the money I would look for at least 180 medium term. No doubt very turbulent on the way but I think it will definitely get there...IMHO DYOR

AK Broker estimates (11 of them) for 2020 are a profit $553m on Rev $2987m. Decent

Also you must remember many of the systems we use IG, HL, Halifax all go short to hedge most long positions (PLUS does not hedge in this manner)

I think you must be careful with the ownership analogy as most shorts are via CFD. So are we saying you can't short via CFD but can go long via CFD?

I havent done the calculations to be honest but I did research the last time x3 funds reduced which came back at prices 155, 168 & 173 so 170 I would suggest is close to median
