Lee im going through the main 2019 annual report (270 pages!)

I can only find (page 142) other intangible assets reduced circa 10% $6629 201 to $5942 2019

The total non current assets reduced from 2018 $13,720m to 2019 $12,846.7m because of the goodwill which was reduced in 2019 to $5942 from 2018 $6629..again all circa 10% reduction so Im missing "the drop"

FatP I always look at the value and even at the drop to 3998 unilever comes in at 4/10 (GSK is 7.6)

Again they have only wrote down intangible assets from $6629 2019 to $5942 2018 circa 10%?

The bottom line for me is this is holding extremely well given 5 broker cuts in 2 days (even if the median target is still circa 1600)

Technically the CCI, W%R , Stochastic and RSI (borderline) showing we are oversold

It bodes well for next week and the run up the dividend

Im not sure but I think Matt is referring to page 41 on the annual report a reduction in value of both the current and non current assets totaling $14,294.8m from $16,780.6m but a 10% reduction in asset value is not unusual, so Im probably still missing something?

Can you tell me where is this on the balance sheet as the only write down I can see (detailed as exceptional item - reported against operating profit) is $294.2 as reduction from 2018 ($538.2m) . What am I missing?

Credit Suisse (jokers) change to sell but hold price @ 1400

* Gsk : Barclays cuts price target to 1250p from 1300p
* Gsk : HSBC cuts target price to 1770p from 2050p

Not sure how you can get such a spread from the same numbers

In terms of the balance sheet I thought a write down would be reflected as an expense but I cant see any on prior data. How are previous right downs reflected on the balance sheet

Arthur quick tip...its bottoming so dont sell at the bottom! If you are short look to close now, if you are long look to buy or top up.

Contra you cant just use an SMA (WMA better) with the RSI and check the chart 30/10/20 @1284 - esp next 3 days

1665 is a great median (forget the German and Swiss sells - they have their own agenda)

Already have a large large holding and in my SIPP but buying more at these levels..its 6% for 2021 divi done for me. Frees me up to lose money elsewhere!
