How long is the administration process?
Is POG still operating and producing gold? wouldn't take long to break even surely.

How could this possibly be turned around now? Sale value would need to exceed debts.

Hopefully Rishi or his mates has shares in POG with an average of 15p. Also shares in POLY and Evraz would also be good (for me).

No one has a clue because they don't issue RNS. The company is fighting to survive yet the last real update was a 6 weeks ago. For all we know POG has managed to produce several tons of gold which would offset the debts somewhat.

Also this is has been going on for months and they still don't seem to have any work arounds. Are the BOD all rotting in a field somewhere with bullet holes in their heads?

This week global airline capacity exceeds 91 million seats for the first time since March 2020.

This is an increase of 2.4% over last week and consists of a 1.5% increase in domestic seats globally, and a 4% increase in international capacity.

That’s an extra 1.3 million seats in international airline schedules.

Prospects for international capacity look good with the next few months seeing a continuation of this trend through the northern hemisphere summer months.

I thought Turkey were playing games to get something out of NATO but ultimately won't block Finland or Sweden.

Turkish foreign diplomatic mission in Iran is recruiting Afghan citizens following Ankara's instructions to take part in hostilities on the side of Ukraine, a diplomatic source told RIA Novosti on Friday.

According to the report, they are helped to leave for Turkey and then to Ukraine, and all the necessary documents are prepared for them.

I don't think we can write off Ukraine just yet. Plus those MLRS will make a massive difference to the outcome. I hope they've already sent them and the latest news in the media is just a retrospective cover for NATOs actions.

Realistically.. if a buyout was done legitimately what is the SP worth?

From the 2020 financials they had 1.7bn in assets with 1bn debt = £700m. There must be £100m in bullion waiting to be sold.

If the market cap is currently £60m and the net assets are 700m then the SP should be around 15p? Or am I way off..

Well if RR can book a profit at 50% volumes then we should be more than in the clear of attacking the debt.

Finland is getting gas now via Estonia. Some EU countries are paying in roubles and will act as a proxy to the rest of the EU. It's all just spin.

On the BBC:
The nuclear power station being built at Hinkley Point will start operating a year later than planned and will cost an extra £3bn, EDF has said.

The revised operating date for the site in Somerset is now June 2027 and total costs are estimated to be in the range of £25bn to £26bn

Fkn ridiculous.. £26bn.. could have built 14 RR SMRs giving almost twice the amount of power output of Hincley point C. Also 2027 is not far off 2029 when the 1st SMR is due to go live. If the Government pumped a couple of billion into RR then they could expedite the factory builds.

14 SMRs @ £25.2bn = 6580MW
1 Hinckley point C @ £26bn = 3260MW

UK PLC should buy 1 SMR upfront. Today.
That way RR can build the factories needed well in advance of the ONR approval. What is 2bn compared to 100bn on a train track.

Is this related to the recent RNS requesting a general license for basic needs? The above was an exemption granted on the 5th May to cover North America subsidiaries just as Evraz was sanctioned by the OFSI. Latest RNS seems to imply a new request has been made which I think applies to the UK side.

So am I right in thinking as soon as POG gets an export license, which should be imminent as they applied weeks ago, they will be able to repay GPB via UMMC (the agent)?

In what circumstance would GPB remove the waiver, since in doing so they would only bite the hand that feeds them (with bullion).
