Reminds me of the story of the person who spent nearly twenty years trying to get elected to parliament and finally succeeded after about five attempts. They then sat in the houses of parliament for about six months saying absolutely nothing. Now, one of the privileges of parliament is called a maiden speech where due respect is given to the speaker so when this person stood up, everybody were all ears full of anticipation. The warrants have been given so that extra funding can be raised through the warrants if it is needed.

The issuance of the 177,973,004 at 1.5p raises £2.7m and if the 117,973,004 are exercised at 3p that will raise £5.4m and if they exercise the 9p warrants that will raise another £16.2m.

The two warrants are obviously "hope" shares; hope that things go in the right direction and act as a sop to the institutional investors as they will be on a killing if the shares exceed 3p and subsequently 9p. So who would not buy this deal?

Don't underestimate Norway. I have dealt with Norwegians and other Scandinavian countries and like most Scandinavian countries they are very easy to deal with. You do not need a written contract in most of those countries because they believe "their word is there bond".

The whole object of Spoton is for Norway to have an entity in the EU as it is not a member. How many single one share, one (solicitor) director exist fronting Cayman or Virgin Island companies? Hundreds registered in the UK, mainly in London. And these companies front vast amounts of money "hidden" away with the "real" owners being legally hidden.

Norway is awash with money from its oil and gas. In fact, Norway has the biggest wealth fund in the world, even bigger than China. And that fund recently said it was divesting itself of shares in oil and gas shares that are not performing among them Tullow Oil and will only invest in oil and gas companies who also envisage renewables.

Providence would actually fit into that given that Seven Heads and Kinsale can be used for gas storage and the "famous" hot well off the west coast has a potential renewable energy source.

Where Spoton is different from the other failed "deals" is that Norway has a lot of money and neither Sequa or APEC had, it would seem, any. So while this might seem a very strange deal it probably has a better chance of success than either of the other two as the money will be no problem and Providence's issue is just that, lack of funds.

Why are you discounting Petronas from Barryroe? There is more chance of a deal between Providence and Petronas through Kinsale Energy than of any funding from the government which is going to be "skint" when this Coronavirus epidemic is over.

Ireland already owes €220 billion to the EU and after Coronavirus probably a lot more.

After all, Petronas will now have to put millions of $ to remove the Kinsale gas infrastructure. If Barryroe can use it that will defray the cost to Petronas and also defray the development costs to Providence.

Petronas cannot afford to spend huge sums on decommissioning the infastructure when you read the following:

"PETRONAS provides a substantial source of income for the Malaysian government, with half of the government's budget dependent on PETRONAS' dividend, moreover in 2011 government actual balance has 5 percent deficit of Gross Domestic Product."

So half of the Malaysian deficit is filled by the revenues from Petronas dividends, which are now going to fall further with drop in the price of oil, so post Coronavirus that will be even worse. Short of giving Barryroe the infrastructure which is not feasible without an investment what other deal do you think Petronas has? Without an agreed development and funding the infrastructure is useless to Providence. But bear in mind the Malaysian government badly needs the revenue from a Barryroe development.

You question Churchilll's giving of Turing's technology to USA but just imagine what money the UK could have made if they had just charged £1 for every version of it that was used since then? Look at Bill Gates who is a dot in the computer market but is worth $100billion alone just for conning IBM. Just imagine how much the UK could have made over the years when you consider computers still use Touring's original "bit" concept of on or off. I am afraid your knowledge of Ireland in WWII is limited. A few facts.

Ireland was governed in the war by an illegitimate American, Eamon De Valera, born of an Irish mother who should have been executed in 1916 except Britain did not want to antagonise the Americans so he did a bit of time in prison and then became a big hero in Ireland.

In 1939, Winston Churchill asked De Valera to join Britain in the war against Germany. In return Churchhill promised that Northern Ireland would be united with Southern Ireland . De Valera refused to sacrifice his people, after all enough Irish blood had been spilled fighting England.
But his ulterior motive was that he hoped Hitler would win the war and put him in charge of Ireland and Britain and so he refused to allow British ships to seek fair harbour in Irish ports. So Britain starved the Irish during the war.

Furthermore, there are two sides in Ireland Fine Gael and Fine Fail which came out of the civil war and never the two sides will meet. De Valera was the "leader" of Fine Fail and f**ked up the country. I come from the Fine Gael side and am among those who believe De Valera was responsible for the death of Michael Collins -enough said.

When Ireland had a famine in the 19th century they did not go around eating dogs, cats, bats as far as I know. They just starved, died or emigrated.

Our recent relatives lived though hard times, especially during the war which De Valera refused to call a war and called it "The Emergency" instead. Our parents, grandparents and children born during the war lived on milk, potatoes and cabbage and for a treat had some blackberries that they probably picked from bushes. It is a known fact that viruses jump species. The last four major virus pandemics all started in China, SARS, MERS, SADS and now Coronavirus and all, it is claimed, started with bats and pigs.

So, if Coronavirus does not kill us all the next one China produces probably will. So, why are countries not seeking reparation from China as this latest virus could destroy the economies of the world and China is to blame, so pay up.

And how come China is not reporting any new casualties or deaths from Corona virus while the numbers are escalating in the rest of the word? Have they developed an antidote and have not told anybody about it? You can be sure if they had, they would have no compunction testing it on their people before it was fully verified as safe.

I'm fine but not much posting with the current world collapsing around us from this Chinese led and created epidemic. Confided to barracks by my family who are doing all the running about short of feeding me through the letter box. At least somebody seems to want to keep me around a bit longer.

Only real problem is my granddaughter, three and a half, has been told I have gone on holiday as she cannot come and amuse me as she usually does as it is not recommended for grandparents to be with their young grandchildren who grow very good strong germs.

Think of me as cynical but it seems to me that China has recovered so quickly and miraculously from this virus created by them that it would appear they not only created the virus but also created an antidote at the same time. If you create something you know how it is made so it is easy to know how to reverse it. ~Anybody with a computer background in practical skills will be familiar with "reverse engineering".

Either the Chinese are lying about the numbers getting the virus or they have a cure. Now how did they get that so fast? No new cases in a country of 1.5billion? Pull the other one. Perhaps they are testing unlicensed solutions on their people.
