The BBC have invested a fortune in supporting and promoting climate catastrophe and the desperately urgent need to deliver net zero. Dale Vince has made a fortune out of the public purse in subsidising renewables, why squabble when you’re on the same side?

There are very few business minds in the Labour Party, but a great many ideological anti business activists. They won’t back track on the NS commitment, not without there being an all out attack on net zero and there doesn’t seem to be many brave souls out there that will give up their virtue signalling to do that.

That makes sense Dumbly, the market does not like uncertainty. Unfortunately that seems to be Enquest’s board’s position , and has been for some time. The sooner something positive is delivered, the sooner the market can take positive steps.

You are spot on with your point about the politicians bandying fantasy but ideology will always triumph where they’re concerned, whether right or left. None of them , with exception of Farage has the cajones to call out the net zero scam.

My favourite recollection concerns five D Day Commandos I took to Normandy for the 70 th anniversary . When one was asked if he had been before ( to the commemorations ) he replied

“ yes but last time was on business” True British understatement.
