Enjoy your holiday Stevo.
Labour are desperate to hide the true cost of renewables and will lie to do so. Dodds’s comment is merely staying on message and perpetuating the lie first put out by Millibrand. Dodds is not the sharpest tool in Labours box, hence her replacement by Reeves. Ideology is a constant and an imperative in Labour’s MO. No change there.
Jeffrey the situation will end when Bseisu sees the best outcome for his own investment.
i'm more ****ed off at the dead hand of bseisu than anything millibrain spouts. the enquest ceo seems content to whinge about fiscal instability, lets see if he says or does anything to mollify shareholders in his next statement, thats if he decides to come out from under the covers.
Didnt expect to see Hunt and competency in the same sentence
You’re right Romaron, the board could meet and make decisions eight days a week, but until this anti business Govt ceases or sensibly alters their EPL, it will not make a blind bit of difference.
Pointless writing to politicians. They only ever respond directly if it is advantageous to them. Currently, Tories know they are galloping toward oblivion at the next GE. Nothing they say or do will save them , and they know that
They'll be entirely happy to leave the Socialists .an economic bag of spanners to play with. They are banjaxed and will not be in power fir a very very long time. Meanwhile the North Sea becomes a pariah area for Labour. Somewhere, a little middle eastern immigrant is sitting crying over his huge pole of shares that are fast becoming confetti. So we arenot alone
Half a million dumped at 1623 today. Bet they were Bseisu’s .
Who are our Travelling Friends?
🎼 Always look on the bright side ….
Bravo Dumbly, I believe you have nailed it with your latest post. This snout in the trough mob need to be given their P45 s pronto. God help Enquest and its shareholders when the virtue signalling Labour gang get their snouts in the trough. We could probably do with a war ourselves, would switch attention away from the posturing and posing all politicians indulge in.
This appears to me to be a measured , reasoned post. Bad news or not, it must be of interest to all Enq. shareholders to contrast differing arguments. Does anyone have a contradictory view with supporting calculations. Asking for a friend……….in fact hundreds of them.
Good luck Fin.
I guess there are many LTHs like myself who continually watch Enquest SP and urge it to rise until it at least touches a point where divesting the shares won’t be too catastrophic .
I have long given up hope of a decent return on thIs investment. There appears to be a dumb acceptance of the situation by the board, and I am at a loss to understand the silence of the institutional investors . I foresee nothing but wreckage for this company.
Human rights? Hamas. =. ISIS Each side is equally guilty. The entire region is a hotbed of hatred . An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth .
AB would have been fired long ago in a company where he was a normal employee. He is playing some kind of game with the shareholders.
Incisive comments Romaron, it’s a great pity we don’t get anything like those from the CEO.
Not just hiding his light behind a bushel, he seems to have buried it. Difficult times for Tory donating oil magnate I guess., is he still behind the wheel.?
I would guess that Khan is relying on playing the race card if she is contradicted. Another individual who has boarded the bandwagon of climate chaos and as a result got the attention that seekers like her crave. When will the dissenting scientists be given equal airtime to argue their case? Certainly not on the BBC which has become the Climate Channel., but strangely only for the catastrophe claim, no opposing arguments allowed. What is their Verify group for if not to air the other side of an argument. Middle class liberals such as Khan, Millibrain and Harvie in Scotland will never feel the negative financial effects of net zero, but revel in the idea they somehow represent the man ( or woman ) in the streets best interest. I hope the government take courage and build on the Rosebank decision , alter the EPL to support investment ( and security) in the North Sea. Frankly I’d be happier if Sunak took the reins from Hunt, who plays to the gallery.
Martinen, you are spot on about ABs lack of shareholder friendly action, apart from his own shares of course. A CEO with as enormous a share holding as he has , will drive the company actions , or inactions, to suit his own personal ends. Has been an increasing problem with holding Enquest shares.
True regrettably, but most of the public aren’t interested in the spin and sound bites politicians bombard them with, until it’s too late of course. Then it’s “ why didn’t anyone tell us?”
