Yes, Captain they did not say "to updating shareholders in due course". Instead they have mentioned "we will update the market once it's been completed." and that is the great. Firstly because they will issuie RNS immediately. And secondly not shareholders but rest of the whole market needs not just to update but urgent help. Either by waking up some from lethargic dreem or to stop some to behave like these monkeys 🙈 🙉 🙊 :-))

I can inform to all our true Matadors that in response to my enquiry just now I have received an e-mail from our company once this confirmation:
"Snow Leopard 1 exploration well was spudded on 9 July 2018 and drilling operations are ongoing.

This timeframe hasn’t changed with the 70 days as a guide – its progressing well and we will update the market once it’s been completed." Nothing special but for me one more confirmation of "its progressing well" its a very good sign that we are going to get the great drilling result in any day and even tomorrow.

Victor, if you really invested in PM don't panic and do not spread negativity here. WH will be drilled this year. But even if not, after striking the big oil at SL it would be perfectly fine for me, to postpone WH drilling till 2019 if it would be based on strategic objectives. It would allow in calm setting and without any worry of the bad weather or someting else carefully comprehend the whole situation and take the best possible decission on the whole range of the most important issues, including those terms and conditions on which it would be preferable to sign an agreement with potential partner(s). Therefore, all your fears have nothing to do with the real state of affairs in the company. So, calm done mate.

Put it in this way, Hamm, if you are Mike would you prefer tell investors about less bad news first, if you know that next one will be even much more worse? I personally would never have done this but would inform all of bad news together. This is an other reason for me to believe that there is "a rabbit", oh sorry I should have said "Snow Leopard" in Mike's sleeve. And that is what he promiced and will show us in due course as a great and very injoyable surprise.

Yes, Mike Buck cannot reach an agreement with the rig contractor because after striking the oil he is too busy by intensive negotiations with the numerous Farm-inees. And that is the true independently do you believe or not.
So, come in or just shut up till the next RNS.

I was absolutely sure from the very begining that firstly we are going to strike the oil at SL. And secondly if it hapens than most likely drills in block XX will be postpoined to next year. And today's RNS just making me even more confident that is the case and Mike's decision is wise and absolutely logical. Being a CEO of tiny company with such huge acreages you have to be flexible and able for quick changages in your main priorities depending of quickly changable situation. Moreover Mike needs to fully concentrite now on negotations with potential Farm-ines and get the best possible deal which could include not only SL but WH too. So, for me everything isn't just okay but excelent. We do not even need now to be too much patience, because the next and long waiting great RNS is in our doorstep.

Yes, cash2 agree. I also think that apparently Mike is afraid of telling us the truth and that's why he is pulling and pulling and pulling. And I think he will pull til the time he finds the oil. So, what we need just wait, and as soon as Mike appears, it will mean that the oil is found. Simple, just as Meerkat says. Lol

Hi guys, what a great warm Sunday today in London. Especially when we are on the eve of the great news. Reading some posts I decided to tell that there were never elephants in Mongolia. There were mammoths only, and they had long since died. But if somebody so sure that there is an elephant why do not run away? Is it too late? If so, then sit quietly. That is the only way to survive. If an investment in Matad do not made you a masochist or mad, of course? Lol

Absolutely D1nger. That is what I was thinking about from the very beginning. Why would the BG management decide to put millions of pounds at risk and drill the well in block if there is little chance of success? BG was very good company with clever management and Mike itself being wise man knew this well and therefore decided to start his first drill with SL. Therefore, I will not surprised and almost sure that on the next week (or at the begining on second one as the latest) we will get staggering news of the oil discovery and in volumes possibly exceeding pre-estimated.

There is nothing will come surprise to the Upside with SL, brother. Such Upside has been carefully calculated which means it will be a logical consequence of the highly professional approach that was used, both by Mike and before him by BG specialists. Therefore, all the conversation over some kind of duster is complete nonsense coming from dogs barking. Exactly the same or maybe even more brilliant situation will be with WH and I tend to agree with those of our Matadors that such deafening success will create copmletely new situation and drilling plans for the XX block can be revised. For, after the SL, inevitably there will be a need to concentrate all of efforts and energy for further exploration and discovery of new huge deposits, not saying about the needs to take into account considereation of the farm-in, which will appear instantly together with the first success.

simonpartridge1, I would fly and be there for AGM if I wouldn't become so greedy now. As soon as I think that if I spend let's say £10 thousand, which soon will turn into £100 thousand, I immediately lose interest and desire in such a flight. And even fear from such a long flight is appearing. Lol
So, my flight to Mongolia will be most likely for the next year AGM. Perhaps with some other of our true Matadors and of course after our £1+ party this year.

2010PM when you mentioned breakfast, I suddenly remembered how long I had not eaten black sturgeon caviar on breakfast. And only because all the money I invested in Matad. But, from this Christmas, I will start again pamper myself black caviar periodically (or even constantly, who knows, depending of how high into cosmos the SP is going to take off :-))
And if we meet, I certainly will treat you to black caviar too (if you like it of course:-)) for the generous and constant sharing with us the knowledge and thoughts on so many issues of oil business.

I never thought that among our Matadors there are so many dog lovers. Ogay, oneruleforone and some others mates, if you wish I will buy for you a lovely puppies to speak with. Please stop your further effort to teach our well known barking dogs how behave well and not to bark. Its pointless because they are too old for that.
