lbjj, I did advise Kurt to do so 3 years ago but he didn't listen. He was sure that can solve the problem much quicker and without spending too much money, time and efforts. But he is clearly understanding now that he did lost already all of that he wanted to avoid and the legal action could be unavoidable. However taking in account the new circumstances and serious difficulties connected with the country's new climate policy that could make the whole legal process even more costly and unpredictable I would advise him not to hurry taking a legal action. But try to use some other opportunities first. I did even write to him an e-mail asking for meeting and discuss these opportunities arising from the UK's leave of the EU. But he didn't yet respond. Being either too busy or maybe ignoring knowing that I am not shareholder at the moment :-))
Let's hope that he is reading my post and will respond taking in account that I can easily become shareholder again in case of understanding.

Spainish, you are wasting time with Ojay here. And not because he is a stupid or dishonest as some of here. But emotionally attached to the shares, with the slogan "Patience" and ready for argue with everyone having critical pow. So, be prepared for his forever "picture of an eternal blue sky" whatever would happens. This is why some people like him are unable to be critical even if they have lost huge amount of money, time and efforts.
Yes, in any our failure we are responsible first of all. But for some, there is no need to look a little further to figure out if it is his mistake alone. Or it results from flaws, suppose the company's management. Such passivity and inability of majority investors / LTH critically evaluate the situation are amongst the reasons all the scams and even crimes occur on the market for which leadership of companies are almost never brought to any responsibility.

I am always ready to engage in honest discussion and clarify who is right or wrong. But its discusting when someone is very quick in idiotic respond even without proper understanding the issuie. Not saying that they unable to imagine that some posts could be addressing to the management in the first place. GKahn, would be you a bit clever you should remember that it was the previous management who has achieved great Farm-in deal with GB. Thanks to that PM gained momentum and become widely recognised on international market. Yes, Bergen deal was a scam and was great that Mike cancel it. But in terms of attracting any partners Mike and the BOD has achieved nothing. They were even unable to recognise huge importance of Heron in this matter which should be drilled in the very first place as an excellent opportunity not just for quick monetisation but strong base to get another solid Farm-in partner. So, it would be better to think a bit more before knocking on the keys.

If to look at all your 36 comments, then there is nothing in them except the unbridled praise of Mike and his team. It feels like management has hired you as their representative here. Because, not to admit a single mistake of the current leadership but to attribute all the failures to the former can do a representative only and rather stupid than clever. Therefore, don’t think that everyone here is so stupid that they don’t understand your agenda and will pay attention exclusively to your “wise recommendations”.

I am sure that no one from LTH could have imagined that Matad would be in today's miserable situation, especially after the oil was found. And since this happened isn't time for all, including the management, to be a bit more self-critical? We all were being too optimistic in our expectation. And it is closely connected with the facts that management failed not only to find any significant volumes of oil that were claimed in Blocks IV and V but even to fulfils each years planned drilling programmes. Moreover they were in constant lagging behind the events instead of anticipating and skilfully managing them.
And at the meeting with investors that I just listened to, Mike is talking about technical side of the businesses but didn't say a word why the company was so unstable in terms of its capitalisation with a constant drop of share prices? That is the economic issues, including the profitability of the company or the return on the capital invested remain outside the scope of his vision. Which actually means overlooking of shareholders interests and that is what must be changed. Otherwise PM can slide to the level of a second-rate gaming table in AIM casino where Mike and his team becoming a dealer will spin roulette, collecting bets from random customers. Perhaps I am too much critical but this is how I can see the current unpleasant situation and hope soon it will be improved by the management significantly.

Personally, it seemed to me that Mike, as a true geophysicist, should have traveled more throughout the Mongolian steppe in search of the big oil. But he looks more a good head of PR than CEO. PR is also a very important work, however it should have done much less by him in compare with geophysics. It so happened that I was familiar with true geophysics and oilmen in Soviet times. And who were passionate by their profession to such an extent that they could spend months in the most remote corners of the Siberian taiga and fanatically search, and most importantly, find the largest oilfields there. I hope that Mike is able to confirm his high reputation as a geophysicist-oilman by discovering on a one wonderful day that big oilfield which we and all of Mongolians are waiting for.

All that is true, M.P., but it’s time now when both Petrovis and the management probably need to demonstrate their full confidence in implementation all of the plans. For that right now and alongside with presentations they could undertake such a positive action as an additional purchases of shares for such bargain prices. This alone could significantly stabilise the company's position in the market. As well as convince all of us that all the plans outlined are sound and will undoubtably implemented. Without it the company’s stagnation and drift its share prices to the south most likely will continue till some of significant events or achievements.

10 yers ago I was a shareholder of Beowulf mining which discovered multibillion iron ore (and precious metal) deposit in Sweden. But for some reason Swedish bureaucrats have started refuse to grant exploitation licence. When new CEO was appointed I suggest him to consider decisive steps including legal action. But he was sure that everything will be o'key and licence will be granted just in two months time. I did wait a bit longer then his 2 months and quit the company taking small profit. And do you know what is happening since? Beowulf and its CEO still in wait for that license. Let to presume now what is going to happen with Matad if the license for some reason will be delayed not for 7 years as it is in "civilised" Sweden but say just 1 year in not so civilised Mongolia. Yes, of course the PM and Mongolian government wants their own oil and refinery. But who knows how long it could take to balance personal interest of bureaucrats with the country's interests. Especially when even local bureaucrats were able to stop drilling at Heron. This is why I am sure Mike and his team have to be much more proactive and not lag behind events.

I just made most amazing discovery. Within just three years Matad has turned from the best amongst of all those companies whose shares I once owned, into the worst one. Just unbelievable. If someone told me that this could happen, I would think that he is crazy or just joking. And in this the clear evidence how in our life jokes and fables can so intertwined with reality that even most thoughtful people cease sometimes to understand differences between reality and joke or madness.

Yes, I also think that a bank loan, and indeed the issue of raising capital is a contrived topic. Money can never be a problem even if you have a great business idea, not to mention an oil deposit with millions of barrels. Therefore, in order to understand what is happening, and even better to change today's abnormal situation, Mike and his team must not lose sight of the strategic goals first of all. And, secondly, to work anticipating not only possible failures but act ahead of the schedule of possible results. That is, you need not to wait for the appearance of these results, but to predict them and be ready to act promptly and not lag behind events, as is often the case with Matad.

Obelix, over the past year all of my predictions were wrong and only one has come true - the discovery of oil at Heron. And the same with the SP. When I thought that it should grow, it was falling like a stone. Taking this in account I decided to build my assumptions using the reverse method.
Therefore, I firmly declare that from tomorrow and til the start of oil production nothing good will happen and the price will fall. And it will be for the joy of our stray dogs that will start to bark even more furiously and loudly. Lol

If just a couple of months ago, when the SP was 8.5p, someone would tell me that Matad will make its first oil discivery at Geron but the price will drop as stone to 3.8 or more than 55%., Then I would have thought that he must have fallen from the moon. And now I am suddenly starting to think: but what if someone has really landed from the moon. And not just alone but with an unknown source of energy that will replace all the previously known earth sources? Now I am almost sure, that is the exact reason of the price fall. And this is why all very clever investors are selling shares and soon no one will pay for them even 1p. Lol
