Yep RyanF. With the fed update last night and potential further pressure from PUTS expiring on SATURDAY we should hopefully be in for a couple of good days.

I just regret with hindsight not selling at £2.00 and buying back at £1.67. Well done to those who had that foresight

Sometimes they will help, sometimes they can make things much worse.

Also, the price action this morning on BOO should be a reminder to everyone on stop losses, dropping to -20% and now down -11%.
Was completely oversold this morning sadly. All retail generally in a similar boat to BOO on logistics costs so this action was way over done.

Boo's demand hugely up. The issue seems to be logistics. This should have far less impact on THG due to THGs investment in their own planes to manage global logistics costs better.

Its becomes a little dodgy ground when a SP has crashed and directors buy at the bottom because directors could be accused of manipulating the price down to benefit themselves at the cost of shareholders. I expect they have legal counsel who would advise against it, but it's not impossible. Personally I would love it if MM bought those 1m shares traded an hour or so ago at 1.77.

Only as a minor punt I'd consider CINE. The studios seem to really want to push their streaming currently, and with bigger TVs and decent sound systems, I think demand in the future will decline unfortunately. With their cashflow problems potentially ongoing, and the lawsuit still not fully answered, I think it's a huge risk. Recommend you take a look again tomorrow and have a think. Be prepared to lose it all with CINE though. I think there is a risk they could go bust. However, at the same time at this price they could be considered a takeover target.

Goldy7 - we hit this price on the 6th and then rallied upwards about 15% to the 10th/13th December. So that's not quite true is it.
Clearly when a stock is at a 52 week low or all time low, it can be a volatile trade.

Looking at the share price action since you were writing your post it looks like you may have sold at the bottom.

Today so far according to ADVFN:
Buy volume:1,419,046
Sell volume: 920,687
? volume: 3,438

OK, it's just a guide based on formulas looking at the price of the trade and the Bid/Asks at the time, but it's generally a good guide to tell us what's going on.

@Pokechip, OK. you're talking semantics. Technically they expire on Saturday, but the last day the shorts can close positions is on Friday, which is my point, and likely why we saw a nice bull run last month on Friday the 19th.
Also, agreed about the quarterly options date also. We may see a smaller run this week, and possibly a bigger one at the end of the year for the quarterly closing, prior to the Q4 trading update next month.

There's often a double bottom dip before any recovery.

Remember what I said about PUTS expiring on Friday, and look back to what happened last month 19th November where shorts were trying to close there positions. Now they may have gone early this month as their employees watching this forum know we're on to them, but I fully expect another upwards rally, possibly starting this afternoon or tomorrow.

I could be wrong and I could be about to lose a fortune, so don't make your decisions based on any comments people post here. But I don't think I'm wrong. And even if there is no rally this week, I'm very confident in a bull run during 2022, after great results are announced, along with huge plans for continued growth. Examples such as what they will be doing with THG Studios. New Ingenuity customer plans. They currently only operate in Health and Beauty mainly. We need to consider how many other high margin categories there are for them to move into for growth.

Yes - we're back to it. Working From Home.
The run up to Christmas has always been my favourite time to be in the office. With everyone in the Christmas spirit, the ability to eat a mince pie at 09:00 and not be judged, Christmas music on repeat etc....
Although we aren't able to do that this year it's been amazing to see the speed that THG has reacted to the announcement and how it has not impacted the speed and volume of our work.
