Through all this I have to respect the honesty to shareholders that JB has shown and highlighting how rotten the previous BoD were. We are at Amigo V2 with a fantastic new BoD.

The new board have shut the door to further claims fraud. They have show they aren’t scared of the regulator or of going to court. They’re fighting for shareholders but also for the >90% of customers who didn’t make a fraudulent claim, who want Amigo to survive.

What stands out for me is that the FCA said they would allow the voters decide. Of course now the FCA just want to get the customers a better deal. Look at the amounts the Amigo previously put in the numbers for redress and the value which is currently in there. Of course Amigo low balled the pot because they knew exactly what the FCA would do, nothing has changed here expect allowing me to pick up cheaper shares than yesterday with good news.

I doubt the judge will be too impressed by the position of the FCA, they came out and said they would NOT stand in its way but did disagree with the fact that customers wouldn't get all their refund but that was obvious. Now they appose the scheme after misleading ex-customers they were okay with it..

Exactly. The people have voted for the scheme and now Amigo will need to increase the pot or add some extra % profits to the pot. With Provident Customer Credit potentially leaving the market this increases our market share.
The FCA will not want to be the ones who push a company into administration and the customers get nothing, when they voted to accept the scheme.

Their ramping tweets pushed the share price up during the week, now out of hours they are casting doubt on the positive spin.

Roll - Who OWNS the IP ? The value isn't manufacturing, you have provided the £50m number - let's see the true number. Alistair talked about OEM and white labelling, this is easy money for them. We sign deals and give the heavy lifting to someone else. This is just one use case for our technology and there is certainly a market for this.

But we are not a one trick pony, look at the depth of other technologies we have. To me our tests were a revenue stream which avoid further placements. This company isn't about COVID tests alone. The market will see this and I would expect a substantial rise, we will win contacts all over the world if we remain the gold standard and this will bring years of revenue for an existing technology

If Alistair pinned potential on the UK government contact, yes I would be concerned but he has talked about European deals and that brings higher margin. We need a use case for technology and what could be better than UK Government.

We are proving our technology on the world stage, I don't think it matters £50m or £100m. Once the world sees we have the best test/technology on the market and it is being used in real life our value will soar.
Startup companies accept some contracts just to prove their technology.
The market price is based upon potential not just one contract.

Travel company Tui has announced that it will be offering people who are heading to green list countries a test package starting from around £20.

This will include a lateral flow test before departing the UK, and a PCR test upon return to Britain.

It is considerably cheaper than current prices for testing.

Andrew Flintham, managing director for the UK and Ireland, said: "We have always believed that cost-effective testing solutions, as well as maximum flexibility, will make travel a possibility this summer and beyond.

"Our research has shown that customers are looking forward to their much-needed holiday overseas, but affordable and easy testing solutions was imperative to make this a reality.

"The four new exclusive testing packages have been developed with our customers in mind; they're offered at greatly reduced prices, include certification to travel and will be a simple process from start to finish."

More details about the government's traffic-light travel plan are due to be announced on Friday.
