Gold has now shot back up to $1430 which is where it was this am when ABG SP was in the 184 / 185p range. If there is the same correlation then there is no reason why the sp should now head that way. Anyway thats the theory. ATB GL Rich

Gold recovered well from yesterdays close, currently $1428, so would normally expect that to give a positive lift to the ABG sp. But as recently experienced ABG acts anything but normal. I personally see ABG as a sleeping giant with great upside potential and would rather be in than out whenever the upturn comes. Judging that is the hard bit. ATB GL Rich

Watched the Gold price weaken towards yesterdays close against a rising ABG sp and decided to sell my holding which I did in 2 x 15k lots @ 187.6 & 189.9 respectively. Calculated that if the Gold price continued to fall then there would be a correction to the ABG sp which has proved to be the case. SP currently around 180p so watching closely for a re-entry point. Gold just clicked $1415, earlier $1412 so may be a turning point. ATB GLA Rich

Accept your point. I am happy with my holding atm and can hold indefinitely....which hopefully not! lol. A threshold will be reached at some point and I personally feel we are not too far off that. One thing I am pretty sure of is that anyone with an entry around these levels will be in a very happy place eventually. ATB GL Rich

Yes almost unbelievable! Nothing happened today to suggest that drop. Surely there must be a bottom reached here? M.M. manipulation is all it can be! It will be interesting to observe the reaction following the Conference at 12:30pm. GLA Rich

Good post! I have had this on my watch list for some time now and the drop has been relentless. Nearly jumped in myself today at sub £2:00 but missed the low so decided to sit this out a bit longer to see if a direction is established. Feel for the floks in here but surely must turn soon. GLA Rich

Had this on my screen as a prospective Buy for the last couple of weeks but have missed the boat! Holders / Speculators have done well with recent Buys but now fair value imo. GLA Rich
