No surprise to see today’s drop as this share has been defying gravity given its current situation and exacerbated by recent events in Iran. I would be surprised if we don’t visit the mid forties again. What’s to stop it?

This massive escalation in the Middle East will have a huge focus by the U.S. to the detriment of Ukraine imo. I cannot anticipate anything but a negative SP response as a result. And especially considering the companies current ‘trading’ situation etc.,

Clearly Russia’s economy is collapsing and things for your average Russian are steadily getting worse but there is still a long way to go before anything like a peace deal imo.

I’ll sit on the sidelines for a bit and observe!

I cannot see any reason, under present circumstances, why the SP is still 70p+. If things don’t change then there is only one direction and we could soon see mid 60’s imo.

Security guarantee’s have to be signed off by both the USA and Ukraine’s parliament. So not holding my breath on that one yet. Both Russia and Ukraine are still sticking to their positions on Russia’s land grab so back to square one for the moment…and FXPO in a far worse position than it was a month ago. So what’s to stop the SP sliding back to 70p, or less? Look’s nailed on to me. Plenty time to be buying back in imo. So watch and wait!

For the first time in 4 years I completely sold out last Thursday at an average of 81p. Just was not buying the story that a deal would be struck. The SP was also way beyond what I would expect from a company which had stopped production, put the staff on furlough, burning cash reserves and depleting stockpiles..and clearly the SP was being driven up on speculation. The SP dropped back on Friday from about 87p towards a close of 80.9..which I consider way too high given the circumstances. Maybe I’ll be wrong, but I’ve taken good profits and going with my gut that I’ll soon be able to buy back in at a cheaper price.

Hopefully this crazy ‘war will soon be over and people can live in peace..but Putin’s gotta be gone imo.

But not for a while yet! And there will be plenty of opportunities to trade this share and make some money in the meantime. Thats why we’re all here isn’t it? The present SP will be a ‘hope for’ in a few days time imo. Soon as Lavrov gives the first official Russian response the SP will be back to around 60p imo. Anybody think differently?

..so have now sold out the balance of my holding. I have held this stock and traded it for the last 3 / 4 years and am happy to take profits at this level. I fully expect a big retrace at some stage soon as the Russians will not accept the amended deal. Anyone who thinks they will is deluding themselves. So for now I’m waiting on the sidelines. The 28 point plan has only a snowflake in hells chance of being accepted by Ukraine. The plan is almost complete capitulation of the whole country to Russia and will not be acceptable to Ukraine without some major changes. I mean, who the fuch does the USA think it is, trying to sell Ukraine down the river without the involvement of Ukraine or its European allies?. Dream on! And as for Russia, they are a very crippled economy with a crippled leadership. They cannot continue to pursue this war financially for very much longer. Their desperation to get a deal done is almost tangible! They have thrown everything at Ukraine, including the kitchen sink, and have still not subdued them. And the Europeans know this and have seen for themselves what a shed load of schitt the Russians are on the battlefield. This is not over by a long way imo.

I took the opportunity at Friday’s close to sell out about 75% of my considerable holding here. Just keeping an interest in case the snowflake doesn’t melt!

does anyone seriously think that a sovereign nation is going to be carved up by outsiders? it’s a big no from me. the ukrainians are a strong proud people with their own identity and language. the scales are loaded way too much in favour of russia and the deal, in its present form, will not be acceptable. when this becomes apparent to trump he will eventually back off and the europeans will step up…as they should have done from the start. russia is just about ****ed and their nuclear sabre rattling will not save them. god help them if the poles get involved!

this sp hike just could soon be seen as a good get out opportunity.
