FWIW: In my personal experience anything other than Sovereigns, Double eagles or the like is difficult to sell at anything near spot prices. The larger the gold quantity, the more you will be beaten down on price, especially if it is in ingot form and not from a top manufacturer. There are only certain places who will buy it. Hi mate, Just picked up your message. I bit the bullet on ABG at 151p taking a £5k loss at the time when gold started going south. Been topping up on CEY since then and happy with that holding. Sold my complete holding in LLOY yesterday at just above 63p as could not see it holding past 64p without a retrace and wanted the profit banked. Hope I haven`t missed the boat on ABG which is now 137p, earlier 134p. Should it get back to about 134p then I will be back in here as I see that as a big threshold. ATB GL Rich

Guys, I held some shares here on Ex Div day and thought that today was payment day which has not happened yet in my case (TDI). Anybody got a quick answer before I have to delve deeper? Sold 10k for just short of £300 profit. Possible further fall coming so cashed in for a quick little gain. ATB Rich

I also bit the bullet on these last Friday and took a £5000 loss. TBH I felt releived to be out of them and as it turned out was the correct decision as the price went on to weaken. There just does not appear to be any support whatsoever and already the sp is at all time lows. Just looks to me as though continued downward direction is now almost guaranteed. I hope not for the sake of all holders here but there does not appear to be anything to support the price. I will now be an interested spectator form the sidelines. ATB GLA Rich

I am beginning to understand peoples frustration with ABG and why this board hardly has any posters. The share seems almost impossible to call. With Gold up at $1476+ you would expect the sp to have gone on this morning...but no, retracing! Work that one out! Mental! TBH If that is the reaction when Gold is heading North then what will happen should it head south? Buys have also outdone sells for the last several days yet sp dropped like a hot brick. Crazy!
