Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
37p hit. We had more posts when this was going down...maybe everyone is just content to sit back and watch this rise.
Great start to the week. GL all and well done to all those who have held through dark days over the last couple of years...we are finally being rewarded.
President Biden is calling on Congress to make companies pay fees on wells from their leases that they haven’t used in years and on acres of public lands that they are hoarding without producing

Boris Johnson last week told oil and gas companies he wanted to “remove barriers” to increased extraction of fossil fuels from the North Sea as part of his plan to wean the UK off reliance on Russian energy.
Interesting Londoner. Do you know how much the field producing before they closed it down?
Certainly seems that Enquest would be interested if the price is right.
Londoner - I'm probably putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5 but this is what got my interest :
The gas produced at Foinaven is exported via a 20in-diameter pipeline. Laid in 2000, the pipeline links the Foinaven field with the Schiehallion and Magnus fields via Sullom Voe terminal
https://www.offshore-technology.com/projects/foinaven/
Chances of Enquest buying this? Does it make strategic sense for Magnus? This paragraph stood out:
This gas was derived from BP-operated fields such as Clair and Schiehallion hundreds of miles away in the West of Shetland area, and had to be bought from the UK major once EnQuest took over. EnQuest has now decided pressure levels can be supported using water alone, Penrose said.
"We reviewed the sub-surface and the benefit of that and have just gone back to a traditional water-flood so we're no longer reliant on that West of Shetland gas. In a way you're in control of your own destiny now rather than another source of gas to support you," he told the Offshore Europe industry conference earlier in the week
Does this give the control of our destiny? ??
Great to see a positive SP reaction to an update...finally....we deserve one after all this time.
AB could have shouted it off the roof tops but maybe he opted for caution and to avoid negative spin regarding windfall taxes etc. But for those who care to read between the lines, the debt reduction so far this year tells you all you need.
Happy to carry on holding now.
Reasonable update. Should be neutral or slightly positive on sp today. Swinney off to Tullow!
Surely he got out all the bad news in the last update. I gave him the benefit of doubt on the last few updates but this time there will be no excuses... If the market read the update as negative then for me AB will never deliver. Last chance AB... don't let us down!
GL all... Surely we deserve 1 good update. Alarm set... Let's hope it's good.
Is that 28p?
Finally... 30p incoming
And another one today....institutions building stakes here. Looking good for another leg up
Sorry to hear that Falky. Hopefully you free up some cash to have some part in what may come... But there have been so many false dawns (been in since pre strike) that maybe better out ??. I have written off these shares a long long time ago! GL
Does recent events make HBR reconsider letting go of Falklands oil? Would the government want the acreage going into foreign hands?
Does this change Italy's view of O&G production? Could they offer the acreage back with a smaller pay out and guarantee approvals?
This could be a very significant period for RKH... maybe just maybe the year of the Rock!
Yep £3 gone! 52 week high.
Flying. Market waking up to this. £3 will be broken this week
FT article. Amazing how quickly sentiment can change
Rare bright spot in my portfolio. With what is going on in the world Hunting are perfectly placed to benefit from the sentiment change and need for energy security. Shale will be back and projects previously canned in the markets where htg operates will be needed and needed quick. This could easily hit £4 from here. Well done to those who have held or added... Looks like we may be finally rewarded.
This is good news. There is an opportunity for cosmetic counters with Debenhams and house of Fraser no longer on the high street . Good move.
Not often I time my entry well! Good rise today...hopefully a lot more to come!
Auson - Now that really would be something! For now I will take ENQ breaking and holding above 22p!!
But the 'Year of the Rock' may finally be upon us!!!
