I have to admit I don't understand the drop. It's excessive without some clarification from the company. Something is not right so I'm holding off as I had planned to get back in around these levels (whish I did t think we're Lilley) but have been spooked

Surprised to see this up nearly 5% today.... Something brewing?

Sold. The downgrade is rubbish... But I suspect they will now get their way and bring it down and hold it back for a while. Fundamentally nothing changing here but I will watch from sidelines now and look for a lower entry.

Recovering now. 5% overdone. I can see this getting back to 270 today and that becoming support. Results are good, SP taking a breather after a great run...nothing to see apart from a great company with a bright future.

It's up on a market down day so can't complain.

My read is in line and positive for the year ahead. They delivered on their target for cash at bank / debt which I was concerned about. May not be fireworks today but should bode well for the future. GL all.

Let's see what tomorrow brings. Will be paying particular attention to cash flow.

Agree Mary. Break 520 range is what we need.

In my mind I see £6 becoming the base this year... I think £6 was the placing during covid too if I'm not mistaken

Underwater here. Average of 120p. Taken the opportunity to reposition a few holdings add some more here... My worst 2023 performer. Average down to 105p. Onwards and upwards. GL all

I think there will be a bit of consolidation here around 305-320. Break 320 and 360 next stop. Not selling yet...Will see where we are mid January when the dust has settled. But this looks nothing but positive, was always undervalued due to the EPL and NS focus...that was the number one issue and they have resolved it with this deal. The re-rating is already underway, FTSE 100 to come too. Great end to the year for HBR holders, not been an easy ride but BoD have well and truly pulled it out of the bag and we can look forward to some good times in 2024 (assuming Oil and Gas prices remain steady).

Finger has been hovering over buy for Enq the past week...was keen to get back in at these prices but the HBR deal caught me off guard and I have pumped it all in there for now. Transformational deal for them. I will still be keeping an eye here...and hopefully free up funds from elsewhere (but mindful of getting the PF too O&G heavy). Will be interesting to see what ENQ do next...must be some M&A coming

Been out since windfall tax announcement. This is a game changer for HBR. Surprised I managed to snag some at 270p...I think this has caught a lot off guard, slow trading last week before Christmas but make no mistake this is a transformational for HBR. And its great to see further diversification away from NS.
