Agree Chiltling. What does taking 100% of Ocado retail mean?

Do M&S Get the CFCs and staff, vans, brand? Even then surely there is a dependency on Ocado for the Tech . How will that work? Isn't it best to keep Ocado involved on minority stake?

And what of the brand? Ocado itself has a customer base established before M&S... Would they have to rebrand this or could it be M&S by Ocado or something similar where you are not doing away with brand altogether.

I got that wrong!

Results were good but the market has been odd recently and with it being a general down day it looked like HTG was heading down first thing...I was caught out. But profit is profit. Well done to those who have held on here. It was a good update and this remains undervalued. I will be watching from the sidelines kicking myself!!

I assume it is M&S playing hard ball potentially around pricing the other 50%?

Interesting reading from Ocado. One could read that as paving the way for MS to buy the remainder of Ocado Retail in the not too distant future? But good to see an improvement in Ocado Retail...may even be tempted to dip my toe back into Ocado!

Out for now. Results look OK but having been in and out of this share for a while my gut tells me this will drift down before getting back to 320+. Will keep an eye for re-entry later. GL

Market has reacted positively. Seems to be breaking out nicely.

I sold out last year because I was sick of hearing about this 12 point plan and lost patience with this CEO.

He has had enough time now to turn things around so I'm expecting a good update here... If not he will be under big pressure.

Thanks Poker. I was waiting on the WPP results... Was hoping for beterr and overall sentiment improvement in the sector. Safer bet to wait for more positive signs but I may add a Base holding at these levels..
