The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Great news from Greatland. Gold grades including 29-meter interval with 0.78 grams of gold a ton, and a 5-meter interval with 8.72 grams of gold a ton, among others. Looking forward to more great results as the drilling activities continue at Firetower!
I received the statement from Numis through Halifax Sharedealing as an RNS at 1249. It originated from Dow Jones Newswires.
Greatland Gold's Havieron prospect in Australia, with which it has a farm-in agreement with Newcrest Mining, could serve as the main catalyst for its shares, Numis analysts say. The brokerage says that while the farm-in potentially cedes 70% of the Havieron prospect, it also limits the level of equity dilution, removes market risk and provides the support of a tier-one operator. Numis says the broad high-grade intersections at the prospect suggest the presence of an ore body that would meet Newcrest's requirements to build an underground mine, further benefiting Greatland Gold. Numis initiates coverage with a buy rating and a target price of 4 pence.
I think we're all forgetting that BigDish has received the £2.1 million from the placing, directly from the investor, a family office in California, USA. As previously announced, the Company is fully funded to 2021. This will transform BigDish from its current eight locations to being present all over the United Kingdom.
Worth buying more shares at this level!!
I think there’s a lot more to come from DISH and rate the shares as a buy. Happy to hold and buy more on the lows.
Be patient with this one. News will arrive. BigDish is the next big thing and will be up to 10p in a flash.
Food tech is 'hot' and Bigdish is looking as tasty as ever. This is going to surge each time a new location is launched. If you're still out get in quick.
The share price hasn't been this low since 20 November 2018. How can this be back where it was 5 months ago?
The disappointing drop in share price is the reason I sold last month. The MMs just seem to conspire to hold GGP back I really hope this gets dual listed on AUX. Might help stop the games and protect our investments in Greatland Gold.
I have a feeling Virgin may pull out of this. All these shenanigans are damaging their brand. Branson wont like it.
In January BigDish received a boost when it appointed Sanj Naha as incoming chief executive. Naha has experience in the industry having held senior positions at TripAdvisor and Bookatable. He said "While at TripAdvisor I helped grow their restaurant base from 11,000 to 36,000 over a two-year period. We discovered that the key was to have the right restaurants and the right deals. I intend to bring that same philosophy to BigDish, and management expect we will achieve break-even in our first two territories within the second half of 2019.”
The company itself has made no secret that should it reach a certain size then it will sell out to private equity. Founder Aidan Bishop points to the £112 million Bridgepoint Development Capital paid for deals site Tastecard back in 2015.
This is a high-risk punt but if it works and is bought out, you’ll never forgive yourself for passing this up!!
Bigdish is going to be the next big thing IMO. I can see this really taking off in the same way that other similar apps have done. I am excited about this one and will be rooting for its success.
I am starting to get a bit bored being invested in a company that just potters around Australia drilling holes in the outback. And has done for many years. I really do hope 2019 sees all that "potential" turned into dollar. In the meantime I will hold for the gold.
Its probable that the recent rise in the share price factored in the news we eventually received today. The news wasn't perhaps as exciting as was forecast so its dropped back a little. I expect it will climb again once the results are digested by any miners that might be hovering in the background. Hold for Gold. GLA

I am worried that Mr Heddle has been abducted by aliens or dragged into the bush by a Dingo. No tweets or retweets since 19 December 2018!
