It's a little frustrating that 4 months into the year we have only seen two RNSs with not a lot of game changing news. We only get to read tit bits of information on LinkedIn. And of courses lots of speculation and opinions from people on this chat board. I'm really hoping the HARL communications department start upping their game as soon as the Business Development department start getting results!
Disappointed that there has been no news of any substance since November. I dont expect them to make it up but I thought there may have been some exciting contract wins by now considering all the resource which HARL has now.
I am invested and am really rooting for HARL to do well, but I wonder what the monthly wage bill is at the company and if it is sustainable with current revenue levels. I'm sure they have done the maths. What do you think?
Love the livery on these ferry plans..

To quote JW in the March business update: "The Harland and Wolff machine is really starting to hum and our ability to operate flexibly across multiple facilities will become increasingly important as an industry differentiator as our workload expands. We look forward to the future with increasing confidence"
HARL have formally joined Cruise Britain..

What's going on here on this discussion board? I think you all need a reset and get back to basics. Discuss the merits of the financial report and the future of HARL!
I am struggling to understand how a company with £3.6 billion pipeline of work over the next five years across all its operations is not exciting the stock market. Is it just a case of being patient while the sellers and the MMs do their thing?
Encouraging to read posts on LinkedIn from the HARL recruitment team "we're super excited here at Harland and Wolff and looking forward to exciting times ahead. We have a hist of new opportunities throughout the Group...." etc etc.
This is a great opportunity for investors too - so don't sell your shares. Buy Buy Buy
The plan is to complete the entire final assembly for all three ships at Harland & Wolff’s shipyard in Belfast and deliver 200 further education opportunities on graduate placements and apprentice programmes, with Harland & Wolff’s welding academy set to train 300 new UK welders for the programme’s duration. Production is due to start in 2025 and all three support ships are expected to be operational by 2032
For ‘turnaround’ investors, Easy Jet is worth a punt.
I meant the cinemas have higher energy bills affecting their OpEx. That's going to sting profits.
So CINE is allowed to stay in business while it tries to bounce back from its problems. But can it? And now we have the added pressure of higher electricity bills for the cinemas. I'm out.
This all reminds me of the week and days before FlyBe eventually went bankrupt. I will be staying clear of this one.
Going back basics..All Revolution products are all cruelty free, with 76% of the brand stocking vegan products . And not that long ago, in 2019, Revolution Beauty was named within the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 as the fastest growing beauty brand in the UK. I think there will be a big bounce back when the auditors have finished their work.
To quote the CEO in the end of year report "In a world where consumers are feeling the pressure from increased prices in almost every aspect of their lives, mass market beauty is perfectly positioned as the affordable choice. Like everyone, we remain mindful of the current economic climate, but we know Revolution's mission to offer quality products at affordable prices remains as relevant as ever". Just go to Boots and Superdrug and you will see how well they are selling. For me, as an investor this is a great buying opportunity. Will definitely bounce back in Q4.
I was in Superdrug yesterday and the demand for Revolution products appeared to be high. Several customers picking up their products and taking them to the tills. That's got to be a good sign.
easyJet adds 51,000 seats as people rush for October and winter breaks. Alicante, Majorca, and Tenerife in Spain and Faro in Portugal are proving to be the most popular destinations for travel in October. Good news for shareholders.
Don't forget easyJet is the seventh largest airline in the world, with 342 aircraft and normally has 48 million customers across 35 countries and 154 airports.
Chief executive Johan Lundgren said the new capital will help easyJet to “take advantage of the strategic investment opportunities expected to arise as the European aviation industry emerges from the pandemic.”EZY is more investable now than it was before the rights issue. I am writing this sat by the pool in Marbella and flew here on a full Easy Jet flight. So has everyone else I talk to. Flights to European and UK destinations are mostly full. Take a look at Flight Radar and see how many EZY planes are in the skies over Europe right now. With PCR tests about to be scrapped the future is easy.
Green hydrogen stocks are grabbing headlines as of late. We'll likely see significant investments in hydrogen infrastructure over the coming decade. The prospects for this hydrogen stock seems to be very promising. GLA.
