The rules are different here because unacceptable offers are decided at the discretion of the BoD. An investor here might think 65P, for example, is perfectly acceptable but that is irrelevant.

Nor can one argue that withholding certain information is misleading. This is not a court of law.

If enough volatility is experienced or the companies have requested so beforehand share prices can be suspended pending an announcement declaring the proposed deal.

Would the buyer of EUA + Nyud licence have a prior claim to Poaz because of proximity? If so and terms haven’t been agreed yet, you could regard this announcement as an incentive to get on with it and quickly, if Poaz is as desirable as a senior Russian geologist stated a long time ago now. The announcement has come at a very interesting time indeed and may not just be coincidental.
