Yes indeed, R/R. Infinitely more realistic than Jock Straps’ inferred value of 10P for the lot, with anything more causing him real surprise!

If WAI say inferred resources have a (conservative)value of $1.2B it means they have a reason to do so. Buyers will listen to them rather than you. Or maybe they mean unquantified inferred resources could be proved up and added to that $1.2B at a later date. All good for us investors.

You give the impression that you do not trust the report from WAI which was greeted with jubilation by the BoD. You appear to be saying they should be less than jubilant. If they trust WAI, why can't you? You said last year that buyers would pay little attention to this report where a NPV of between $1.2 and $1.7 billion was given for one part of NK ( and no T at that stage). As I told your friend Hackett some time ago they will exploit the rich copper-nickel veins first. In about five years' time they will turn their attention to the rest if world prices for copper and nickel warrant it, which is very likely to be the case.

If the buyers are thinking 20 years ahead they would do well to compromise on price with the BoD and get it all for the bargain price of 60-70 cents rather than the full dollar(+) at a later date!! The fact that the Sinosteel Contract has not been used so far is a guarantee that 10P-30P is not on the cards. The BoD would have asked the buyers to leave the table long ago. They will not entertain rubbish bids of that order for world-class assets. Jock Straps of course thinks the assets are of low quality and takes issue with WAI and others who have a different view.

Kammy, you are the lowest of the low, I'm sorry to say! Even some of the trolls expect more than 10P - Take Jock Straps, for instance, he is expecting more than that. That is why he ruefully abandoned the more distant prospects of EEE, returned like the prodigal son to the fold and the more immediately promising charms of good old EUA. We all live and learn - and get wiser in some cases.

I had forgotten this wretched troll ever existed - then found him in my Green Cage where he has been languishing for about a year beyond hope of reprieve. Good decision.

I said recently the BoD were leaving it up to the buyers to make a move before Christmas 2025 at the latest ie they would have the auditors give them a clean bill of health in December and have the shares trading again before 1st January if they had heard nothing from the buyers before then. It looks to me that they have got better news from them much sooner than expected. It is very possible indeed that the buyers are now convinced they cannot compete with our BoD's staying power and steely determination. Looks like a reasonable deal is on the cards. If the shares resume trading next Monday morning I think we can take it for granted that they will rise and not fall. Oh for the days of 1.4P, never to be seen again!

I never took the cases against EUA seriously. All the hysteria over all those months last year just washed over my head.

On the other hand, I don’t see them arguing over pounds which Richard might suppose to be the case!! A difference of 20P would be about £600m. How about a firm handshake on 70p?

The buyer will very likely have got a better bargain than CS but this can’t go on for ever. CS is 70 after all and in need of a deserved rest. The seventy-year-old Christian gets 70P for EUA. We can all live with (or on) that!

I think the BoD are leaving it up to the buyer to compromise on price and sign up before November. Otherwise they will announce the 'Facility' is in place, giving the Auditors time to sign off in December with suspension removed and the buyer contemplating another 12 months of solvency for EUA from that date. Not what we want to happen but it is possible but I think unlikely. They are very clearly telling the (bullying?) buyer that the present offer is not enough and that they cannot force the BoD's hand. Balls of steel and all that!

How much money might be needed over the next 12 months in Head Office London to keep the auditors happy? Any one any idea? I mean it should not be hard to get a lender if the amount is not much more than £1m. There must be a good chance that CS has a million pound property somewhere in the UK! Could it be more difficult than it seems to a business tyro like myself, not knowing the ins and out of a Tflf?
