You just seem to have a problem with the reality of this share. Unfortunately, it is all about that single cloud. Everything could be absolutely perfect with this company but without sales it just won’t move meaningfully.

It’s not the 90% good about GDR that prevents this rising. You could have the best product in the world with all of the approvals in place but with no sales it means nothing. I believe sales will come but the market doesn’t like uncertainty. Once the first sales come in, this will almost certainly rise and quickly.

This cautious optimism is reflected in the behaviour of the share price at the moment.

You are confused. It’s the share price that is currently negative. I am hoping that it ends up positive.

I can’t see it hitting 200p today now. I think the best we can hope for is for it to be up by a few percent.

I agree, he seemed to stumble a few times too. I like the restaurant analogy but I don’t think he delivered as cleanly with sky. I don’t think the content/quality of the interview has caused the drop, I think people were clearly speculating that the Sky interview would have a larger impact. Now it’s done, people are selling.

It’s not a concern though, if you’re holding for sales then anything that happens between now and the first sales RNS is largely immaterial. Once we have some numbers coming in then the share price will pretty much be forced to correct itself.

I have said multiple times that I am cautiously optimistic about this being a potential 3-4 bag. Is that not enough for you? Me being happy with steady gains is not enough for you?

The fact that I don’t believe every single day is going to be a massive rise seems to bother you? Take a look at the share price activity over the last few weeks. Who has been right? Yeah, exactly.

Just to be clear, me saying that I am happy with the share price rising steadily isn’t positive enough for you? I believe we will get sales, I just don’t think the share price will move massively before then.

I would be surprised if this hit 220p today. If these interviews are enough to keep the share price moving steadily in the right direction then that’s good enough for me.

Perhaps the reports of lockdowns being eased is causing people to be more cautious. We just need sales, I can’t see anything else really moving the share price.

Some tests provided to the NHS produce false negatives.

Basic logic says that from these statements you cannot conclude with certainty that some NCYT tests gave false negatives.

As I said earlier, I am not questioning the 30%, I am questioning how you concluded that some of those were NCYT. You’ve assumed which doesn’t make it fact unfortunately.

It’s telling how your original points on the comparison make no reference to NCYTs market cap when they were at the same position as we are now. Then once you realised you made a boo boo, you decided to shoe horn that in. Disingenuous to say the least.

Questioning a positive is not the same as being negative. I am convinced that GDR will be north of here over the next 6-8 weeks. I don’t rule out a 3-4 bag here but I am less convinced of that at the moment.

As always, it’s just a case here of me being positive about GDR but not being as positive as some other people. That is then seen as being negative.

You were wrong on the profit margin and you talked about partnerships but omitted that NCYT have partnerships with GSK and AZ.

You are now adding another point to your comparison justification and finally it’s something worth discussing. As NCYT was going through these events a couple of months ago, I wonder how much the gains were amplified by hitting the market earlier twinned with more powerful sentiment around covid stocks at the time? You’re right, if we looked at the NCYT market cap when they were on our position then we are behind. I just think that the market is looking for more now, namely sales, before the big gains come.

I have asked for verification of these 2 things on the NCYT board. I am sure Rolling is correct and hasn’t misinterpreted anything but worth double checking.

There is a discussion on the GDR board with some comparisons to NCYT. A poster has claimed two things: -

That the CEO has admitted that they have made almost zero profit on any of the tests sold.

That NCYT tests are responsible for some of the false negatives that are being reported.

Can anyone verify either of these claims?

I can’t find it, just an interview with a business director stating that they aren’t discussing product margins right now. Sure you don’t have a link handy? To be clear are you assuming in your comparison that NCYT have made almost zero gross profit from their £90m in sales?

Regarding the false negative rate, what’s the source that states that any of them are NCYT tests? Presumably you aren’t saying some tests gave false negatives and some tests have been provided by NCYT therefore some NCYT tests gave false negatives?

I am genuinely not trying to catch you out or anything. I see the comparison with NCYT as quite a strong guide for GDR and just backing up a couple of your points would add a lot of weight to what you are saying.

The NCYT profit margins are a surprise to me, I am sure that I read that the gross profit was 60-80%, granted that was a while ago.

Look, you had a bunch of people talking about hitting 200p today. They were proven to be wrong yet again. You have a guy here who this morning claimed a 270-300p rise today, which was never going to be hit. The same person now claims 300-400p tomorrow?

Attention should be drawn to these people because they shouldn’t be trusted.

Today was a great day and there is no reason we can’t have another blue day tomo if all goes well with the interview.
