The approvals timing was raised yesterday and based on NCYT, FDA approval came approx 5 weeks after CE marking. If we followed the same timescales, we would be looking at the end of June.

I know we currently do business in the US but do we know for sure if this will shorten the approval time or is it a guess?

Yep, was one of my first shares too. I got in around the same sort of price as you and more or less held all the way. Ended up 23 bagging. Was just blind luck, none of my AIM investments have come close since.

I was definitely on the iii board at some point during gkp but not at the start. Got in 2009 and then got out in 2012 when it went ballistic. I was in Thailand at the time and the guy who gave me the tip messaged me. Thank god they had an Internet cafe!

I got exceptionally lucky with GKP like 12 years or so ago and I have had no luck with oilies since then! My bottom has been ignited by them several times too.

The dream would be £5.78 to be exact to give me a lovely round number to sell out at. Within the next 2 months please. Hopefully the oilies are still struggling at that time!

Sure but you’re assuming that our first sales are dependent on FDA approval. You don’t think that the first sales could come from a country that recognise the CE mark?

These timescales are actual timescales from NCYTs covid test, so presumably the conditions are very similar here. Was looking for any evidence that we may get these approvals sooner (or later).

Well, similar timescales would give us FDA approval at end of June. Presumably the ‘June sales’ aren’t dependant on this approval. It might mean that US based orders might come in at the end of June in addition to other orders earlier in the month.

For completeness, NCYT received FDA approval on 23rd March and WHO EUL on 8th April.

Judging from the NCYT RNS from 17th Feb, looks like they did similar.

There are plenty of other countries out there we can currently sell to, so don’t think sales are necessarily dependent on either of these approvals.

Just looking at NCYT it took approx 5 weeks from CE-mark to FDA approval and approx 7 weeks from CE-Mark to WHO EUL.

Does anyone have any info on whether we are looking at similar timeframes? Or are the above representative?

You have ‘spent too much time’ on this several times in the last 24 hours. Once this starts heading north, I think it will become clearer that we truly are all on the same team.

I was going to have a go at concocting a few more fatuous rejoinders for you but our disagreement aside, I genuinely don’t see the issue with presenting a point of view which so far has been backed up by the actual share price.

Look at the share price, these recent events are consistently not moving it in a meaningful way. The NCYT rise happened at a time when the market wasn’t as crowded and so maybe that is why GDR isn’t acting the same. As for AVCT, I have no answer as to how that’s so high but GDR certainly isn’t tracking it.

It simply comes down to whether you believe sales will come or not. If they do and I firmly believe that will be the case, then all the stuff that happens up until that point is just noise and we will all be handsomely rewarded in good time.
