And it’s worth pointing out that AVCT was up near £1.80 only a few days ago and looks like news of the placing leaked which is why it dropped down to the where it did. If this hadn’t happened, the discount would have been much higher.

Out of interest, how do you think GDR should have done things differently? Given that they would have agreed the placing price with the II’s prior to the huge rises that happened in the following few days? Should they have just reneged on the agreement and moved the goal posts?

You also have to take into account that we somehow survived the onslaught of Passtheparcel’s sophisticated shorting group. We have clearly been very fortunate.

I can’t really explain why AVCT mcap is so high. For me it just means that far more is priced into their share price. They will need a cracking couple of RNS to justify that mcap. Where as for us, pretty much any amount of sales will have a positive impact.

I agree Pete, I took a good look at all the covid stocks and focussed on NCYT and GDR. I invested briefly in NCYT before moving over to GDR once I saw it falling back.

When you compare to other covid stocks it seems like a no brainer that GDR is the best of the bunch. I would love to hear some objective arguments as to why NCYT, ODX, HEMO, AVCT would be a better short to medium term investment.

Of course the fact I am invested here makes it’s difficult to be fully objective.

It could well come alongside sales news. Many of the NCYT sales updates also included a section on approvals. FDA and WHO would probably be announced separately for sure.
