Nope !!!! they are 'owed' money only because of CMC's latching on to a new income stream following the closure of the PPI money trough. Only the most naive would argue that the litigation based, ambulance chasing, money for nothing ideology, that pervades today's society has got nothing to do with it !!!

I worked continuously (and invested ) for over 40 years and am quite happy in my 'capitalist' skin and I certainly don't need any protection in my investment choices!! :-))
Being a 'realist' I am confident that SOA2 will happen, Amigo.v2 will be a success and the share price will rise appropriately .... but IF it all goes down the pan I won't cry over it....

Well, my holding in Motif has been showing as £0 value for so long now on HL, that it will make no difference going forward !!!
But, at least we have the satisfaction of knowing we have stopped BVX from 'stealing' the Motif shell for peanuts and also stopping the BOD from lining their pockets at PI's expense!!!

If BVX are so sure of their products and that the share price will rise, why not offer us 10x warrants with a better consolidation ? Might be a better incentive for most !!
Also, the money from warrants would go into BVX coffers anyway!!

Well, I would hazard a guess at the BOD's of BVX & MTFB !!
They must have had an inkling that this might happen, so have a plan B.
They could list temporarily on Aquis, same as WTG, then seek a vote on a better offer!!

Voter apathy is something to bear in mind and is probably what the BOD are relying on !!
Small cap stocks usually have an "issued share capital vote turnout" of only around 50% !!
Now, ordinary resolutions, of which the majority at Motif's AGM are, only require a simple majority to pass (50%+1) .. therefore in that example only 25% of the total issued share capital would be needed to pass a resolution. (50% x 50%) !!!
Due to the variables here... this vote could go either way...
The BOD are probably confident because rarely do 'recommended' resolutions get voted down!!!

Senna...... I would have presumed that it would be part of the terms and conditions of the mechanism of the compo-pot (cash / shares) that once all outstanding redress claims had been paid or time limit reached, that any remaining monies would then be paid into Amigo's coffers and not to the 'Last Man Standing' !!!

If the judge reckoned that the great unwashed were too stupid to understand what the hell they were voting for in the first SOA , they certainly won't be any less stupid for the next vote !!
Perhaps there should be a caveat on SOA2 which states that only customers that have passed their 11plus can vote !! The Judge might pass it then!! ;-))

Possibly Not...I got the impression that the SOA is still on the table with the judge saying it was basically ok but that it had room for improvement and to come back with a better "tweaked" version.....
