The consensus seems to be that the FCA wants to see shareholders take some of the pain of the SOA .... but a rights issue at these levels is difficult.
What if Amigo were to issue 100/200 million new shares,(as part of SOA2), these being held ring-fenced for future compo pot... once the FCA agrees to SOA2 the sp will recover sufficiently to enable the ring-fenced shares to be used in a future rights issue at said higher sp , with all proceeds going into the compo pot as cash !!
Comments please... would this be possible or a non-starter ???

There will be approx 81million 'new shares' in BVX.....
Motif theoretically paying £6 mil for BVX (in shares)....
Placing of new shares raises £10 mil cash for new company....
They reckon this gives BVX a value of £16mil divide by 81mil shares equals 20p share price !!!

A company whose business is dealing with money day in day out, surely has the nous to be able to employ some "creative accountancy" to improve the initial compo pot and increase the ongoing cut of profits (c.25%) to facilitate Amigo 2.0.
As for no shareholder pain... well what about the cut of profits, meaning no dividends and a dampened share price for the forseeable future until all redress claims are paid.
Hopefully Mr.Jennison has told his guys to pull their finger out and SORT it !!!

Seeing as Amigo's first attempt at an SOA was turned down by the High Court as "unfair" to it's customers, I see as only right and proper that Motif 's first 'consolidation offer' is voted down as it is patently clear it is "unfair" to Motif Shareholders.
(1:40 would equal pre-suspension sp and maybe give LTH an incentive to hold and invest in the new company..... or is that just wishful thinking ??) ;-))
